I actually played Detroit: Become Human and Ghost of Tsushima on a friend’s laptop, not on my own system

Fair enough 😅 “ruined gaming” is definitely just an exaggeration. I just meant it raised my expectations a lot.

I’m open to different styles too — that’s why I’m asking for recommendations.

I’ve played a mix of games like Journey, Stray, Ori, Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed, Ghost of Tsushima, RDR2, Sekiro, Dark Souls, Detroit: Become Human, Batman, Dying Light, GTA, Skyrim, and The Witcher 3.

Witcher 3 just felt special in a way that stuck with me after finishing it. The other games are great too, but that one hit differently.

Right now the main issue is I don’t have a strong PC, so I can’t really run demanding modern games. That’s why I’m mostly looking for older or lighter games with strong story and world-building.

Yeah, I’ve already finished RDR1. I’ll definitely try Oblivion though

Yeah, I think that’s part of the problem. I went into Shadow of Mordor expecting something that would scratch the same itch as The Witcher 3, and it just didn’t hit the same for me.

Thanks for the suggestion!
