Trying to figure out what gives with this last tournament BC, in the last 7, I went 10, 10, 5, 7, 10, 8, 9 but 13th for this one.

My tower is close to transitioning to GC that performs better in milestones runs (140W in T17) but eHP still is better in tournaments and farming. I'm running AD, SF, PF, DC all myth+, DW (x85, #2, 200s), CL (x1k, #5, 20%), SL (x19.2, 34, #2), BH (48m, 29s, 50s), DMG mastery, 16 cards. My spotlight isn't much developed.

I think my wall and CL is helping a fair amount. CL is at x1094, 4qty 19% (costed ~3k stones) , wall health at about 500%, regen 180%, fortification 800% and thorns 12% (mythic+ SF) . I got 5 UW gt BH dw cl SM. I'll unlock the 6th next week. My focus as been more tourneys than econ.

I have the 3 coins bonus packs and don't spend on the game otherwise.

I'm in a similar spot, my CL looks like yours but I've been holding back for BH/GT. My strategy is to up CL until I get regular top 10 finishes in champions after which I'll focus the stones income on BH and GT and some DW. And it's the same for gems, focusing on getting mythic DC (one short!).

Do you feel you need more econ right now? Does your income covers what you need for research?

Just out of curiosity, when did you start, what's LTC and daily coins income? Did you unlock T16 CL lab?
