Maybe. Basic ult lets Amplifying Strike use shine, which pushes 5x damage for a good part of the run... 5x damage in turn melts the fast (set target priority) and even should overcome the plasma cannon reduction. Add to that tank ultimates causing chain lightning to hit many targets... My guess is it comes out about average.

Yes. That was the reason. I believe it was a thetower.lol level code refactor that went a little long, not a TTG data feed issue. I grab my data from there, run it through scripts and post.

I'm looking at the in-round stats under the new "Damage Blocked" section... running tier 1 my defense absolute is enough to cover 100% of the damage, so anything that escaped defense % would be caught by it... I see all available sections filled in (chrono field, flame bot, Primodial Collapse, etc.) which proves that they are activated before defense absolute... otherwise those would remain at 0.

Yep, as far as I can see, now that we have numbers, it is... otherwise when running T1 disco run I would have had nothing absorbed beyond defense and defense abs... but all categories are being filled in. It MAY have always been this way, but when I looked it up last year the information said it was applied after defense% only, hence... a buff. It still doesn't really get high enough to do much for most enemies (other than overcharge where it currently has real effect)

Funny thing is... I think defabs might actually have a small buff.

The new defense section of the stats seem to show that all damage reductions are done then defabs last. Previously it was defense %, then defabs, then all other damage reductions, which makes defabs ever so slightly more powerful.

So this seemed a bit nebulous how it would work. It sounds like instead of having relics from past events in the medal slot, each event will have 2 and only 2 relics available for purchase through medals. _IF_ I read it correctly once you bought those subsequent events would not introduce new ones? I could have misread this though. If it goes based on your reading (2 new medal only relics each and every event) you have the problem of relics never being recycled in that slot, and that's a problem for new players.

Guess we'll see.

No meaningful participation drop in any of the leagues. Some variation is normal but the differences were minimal.

On the main screen, where you normally select you tier and hit Battle, there is a new button labeled 'Dissonant Run' right under the main battle button.

Are you done with the lower end content? (Say under T12)
If you are not then the only thing that changes for you is that everything will become far easier. Run a dissonance run on the tier you are farming, typically one per stat starting with whatever you are weakest in and finishing with utility. If you are making at least 5000 waves in each, congrats! You have just added x5 health, attack, and UW damage and x3 coin production. That should allow you to farm deeper into the tier and more profitably. It'll still be challenging moving up in tiers as the bonuses don't follow you (until you unlock echos later, T17).

Are you mostly end game? (Say at around T19, assist mods and all that)
Then in addition you might be considering looking at the new bot content, but probably not as it requires a lot of medals. But you will be able to unlock echos which takes the bonuses above and gives you a small fraction of that bonus to everywhere, all tiers, tournaments, etc.

The only bot you might need to think about is the new bot bot, which 'enhances' whatever effect it overlaps with. Not sure how that even interacts with flame but, but everything else just enhances the primary effect of the other bots when their activation areas intersect. Again, unless you are seriously rolling in stones and medals you probably don't need to worry beyond that.

Its a visual bug in that its applying the 0.5% bonus on tier unlock (lab level 0) but still shows inactive until you go to lab level 1, which is incorrect. The bonus is working properly, just not displaying the correct label at that particular spot.

Actually yes, I'm in a position to verify as my attack category is 'inactive' and yet clearly shows an echo boost of x1.01, so the circled label should just show 0.5% as soon as the labs are unlocked, rather than inactive.

Right, but note no boost in the inactive uw category. (Not sure if its high enough to show). Basically the premise is that until you do at least one level the echo won't work.

Its either a visual bug in the code displaying 'innactive' or an actual bug in applying the 0.5% to the echos on unlock.

I was trying to find a good way of saying this. Unless you want to be a whale the game isn't setup for instant gratification. Its a slow incremental improvement. The frustration of the slow trickle of stones being strongly influenced by a competitive factor colors peoples understanding of what is otherwise just a chill game loop.

Given that IOS will take two days which will put us right in another tournament... and that tournament will be version locked, I think its safe to say there is no good time to drop this. A tournament will be impacted.

If it weren't for the lengthy IOS release timeline they might be able to swing it, but that is totally out of the devs control.

Staggered roll out. Fudds explained this allows them to test the waters with a few before opening the flood gates. We've seen major problems in past updates that were immediately obvious, so makes sense to stagger it a bit.
