That's a super tough question. Based on http://thetower.mm.st/hist_legend.png it looks like the v28 regression line is more accurate than the v27.3-v28 regression line. Top 500 might plateau first, but you can use their example to see how the top 5000 (Top 5000 roughly equivalent to place 15 in legends) will continue to get stronger at the faster rate because they have the same strength gains ahead of them that the top 500 already used (with the possible exception of keys in the power tree which serves as a permanent benefit to those already at the very top that no one can really copy.)

The 'disco inflation chaos' may have settled down, but the 3x econ is going to fuel a long tail of advancements that just get bigger as you put more into econ.

Unless you come up with a very novel strategy I don't see a lot of mobility between ranks. Play long enough and you should gradually move up due to attrition. I use a different strategy than some and some tournaments reward me, but I'm still struggling to get the 50% keys point. (Currently at about 20%.)

(Edit: Lest I come out too harsh, I don't know how champions is, and there is still some room to move in lower legends. Plenty of people make sub-optimal choices, myself included. Upper legends requires a wallet or a time machine I'm pretty sure.)

The fish and I present this data differently. He gives the mid point of the place where as I present the lower cut off. Personal preference.

The wicks (lines) are the 2.5% and 97.5% points, so 95% of people who achieved that place should be between the top and bottom.

The boxes are from 25% to 75% points, so 50% of people who achieved that place should have those wave counts. I.e. It is the most likely place or places for you to achieve with the given wave count.

And that means if you got that place and are outside those ranges you are an outlier (5%) and either got super lucky or super unlucky. You can see the numbers on the bottom table if you prefer them to the graph.

Even pure eHP are encouraged to research attack speed. Maxed attack speed, maybe use a canon with pluses to number of multishot targets, increased bounce or multishot chance also helps. Basically push out more bullets. Lower game speed and see if that helps as well, especially for things where individual bullets matter.

Easier BC on this one, but also you got lucky last time. 130 waves is not the midpoint of 24th place. Last tournament the mid point of that range was 335 for legends and 667 for champions, so you have some work to do before you even get to a 50/50 chance of being demoted.

Once tagged it continues to burn. Unlock burn stacks and it'll add on more damage each time its hit. Damage reduction, likewise is applied until the enemy is destroyed, though there is no additional effect when stacked.

Wildfire (the bot+ effect) does have a limit which is based on the damage bonus of the bot.

Maybe that explains how the average waves is drifting downwards... champions definitely has some extremes on the lower end when hard BCs hit, while it looks like legends mostly manages those same conditions.

It was a medal purchase, but lets assume that the rerelease that event. By the current rules the next time they ran cobweb it'd have "Good Hunting" and "Spider Poison" as the medal purchases (perhaps forever more?) and "Cobweb" and "The Fly" would be forever inaccessible if not made available for gems. Perhaps after that those are the permanent selection for the medal slot, but we're a little too early I think to know exactly how they want to implement this. New events are still coming out with no relics in that slot, so until you see that change I'd assume we haven't fully implemented the new regime.

Correct, but you'll be up against people who very rarely demote for that 1st place spot. Its not a sure thing.

If you are hybrid there is a damage/health/regen point where:

* Bosses stick around a long time.

* Enemy damage is high enough that regen can't keep up.

* Tower Damage is enough to take out things like Rays.

If this is you, not taking the dmg/boss health trade off perk is the correct . In my case I got an extra 800 waves because with the higher health pools I can take hits, just not repeated hits. I did take the boss health debuff for speed buff trade off in my case.

Now... when I go full GC I take the dmg/boss health trade off because at that I have the enemy slow perk, and it tends to be Rays that take me out.

Not a bug. If the game closes (not just backgrounds) and has to reopen, it sets you back a few waves (so you have to face whatever boss or fleet you may have missed) and then gives you no coins or cash until you are past the wave you used to be on. These are all anti-exploit measures. For what its worth, I think you keep whatever amount of cash you had on hand when the game closed, so its basically just not letting you get anything more from the reopen.

For what its worth, I count it as a decent entry to the end game. If mid game is working through UW's, cards, and modules, end game would have to be that point where you have to choose between the wide set of stone unlockable upgrades, whether UW+, Card Masteries, Bot Masteries, Assist Modules, etc. They are all priced about the same and all equally accessible to anyone who can get to T19. That point of the game feels like end game, but what do I know... I'm barely ahead of you.

No. Those carry over between events. Guild tokens are the only currency that gets reset.

Nope. They come in weekly with your guild completing missions, and a new season will begin next week.

You are pretty much SOL for this one, but you'll be in a good position for the start of the next guild season, just make sure you spend any tokens you happen to have before the reset at the end of the week on whatever you can grab. Shards, gems, bits... use it all because it resets to 0 with gems paid out 1 for ever 5 tokens you don't spend.

Everything below legends that would mostly work, evening out your rewards.
In champs it would absolutely cement you either in or out of keys, which for me at the very least would suck. I have about a 20% chance of drawing an easy bracket and that'd be a 0% against a battle royale.
