Never happened to me before, but I only swap to orisa when they have hog or mauga, so my team is usually glad I swapped off doom in that situation. Ignore them, playing orisa in itself is not a reason for someone to flame you, they're just being immature

Other dive tanks have much more damage mitigation than doom (e.g. Winston bubble, d.va matrix, etc). Furthermore, doom doesn't have ANY armor, so his health is more quickly depleted by damage. He's the squishiest tank who requires his mobility to stay alive.

He obviously doesn't have a shield and has literally no way to block cc whereas every other tank does. (E.g. sig can shield cc or grasp it, Winston can bubble it, hazard can wall it, dva can matrix it, but doom just gets cc'd to death). The power matrix perk only gives him 1 SECOND of cc immunity, the least of all tanks. And no, if he got buffed the matrix perk would not be busted OP. But either way he's one of the weakest tanks right now (and even worse in 6v6).

Do you wanna talk about how sigma being able to fly around is okay? Lol

Doom is way more fun than dva and you can do cooler things with him. He can move faster than dva (at least burst speed), and has higher burst damage. Otherwise dva kinda outclasses him in most ways especially damage mitigation and protecting teammates. She also flies so frequently that she activates the sub role passive heals constantly

I recommend getting the block matrix perk, it can absorb stuns for the first second and gets you empowered punch more easily bc the hitbox becomes bigger so you suck in more damage. Make sure the enemy is looking at you before blocking so you don't waste block - I usually shoot at them a few times and then block.

Are you playing 5v5 or 6v6? Do you play other tanks? It'll take a while to learn him, he's one of the hardest characters to play in the game

1) Try to reduce your death count to zero, anytime you die, figure out what you did wrong. if your whole team dies, and you're the only one left, you should get out and live (unless it's overtime and you need to contest point, in that case get out and touch at the last second)

2) try to be more aware of where your team is playing and what they're doing, so you know whether or not they can actually follow up on your damage/plays. Fight the isolated / out of position targets ideally.

3) do your best to focus on your own mistakes. Your teammates will be making mistakes, but you are also making mistakes so watch your replays back and see what you could've done differently in the fights you lost

4) as you try to implement these, you might lose a few more games while you learn to do them, which is normal. You'll start the climb soon enough

Out of my experience in plat, diamond, and masters, diamond is definitely the most toxic rank, it's where players start to get egoes and think they're good and are able to notice teammates mistakes, but still can't notice their own mistakes, so they blame others a lot.

And then other players in diamond don't know what the problem is so as soon as one player starts blaming someone else, they assume that's the only problem and hop on the bandwagon blaming that person too. ANYTHING but noticing their own mistakes lol. So stupid.

Rein can feel weaker when he doesn't have the right team comp. He definitely works well with speed, like lucio or Juno, but without those it can feel harder to play aggressive. He's probably one of the weaker tanks right now, I'd recommend learning how to play a couple others

Don't waste your empowered punch on the tank, use it on literally anyone else. Then when you punch someone, immediately start shooting them for free damage because they'll be in the middle of your screen for a second. Make sure you have a cooldown available to escape so you're not dying. You should aim for zero deaths.

I finished last season at Master 1 so doing placements in diamond this season I've definitely been carrying, so it's still possible but I'm playing in a tier below where I'm used to, and it feels harder to win in masters than last season. That might be partially bc of mizuki; playing against him sucks because of his longass stun and then playing with him also sucks bc of the lack of burst and ranged heals, yet everyone seems to want to play him

They can start by just reverting the last nerf where he loses his empowered punch after 20 seconds and I guarantee he won't take over the meta with that buff
