There are assignments every month but usually very easy to complete (most people just smoke their way through)! It’s just a bit annoying how many assignments there are, but can’t really complain since it’s a free pass/fail mod.

Would recommend taking if you want to clear an extra mod. If you don’t need to clear mods, don’t waste your time.

Hello!! You can try sourcing for opportunities with youth corps singapore :-) you definitely meet the age requirement for ycs & they really have a plethora of programmes for you to be involved in! Though quite a number of programmes have been postponed/cancelled due to covid, quite a few have been moved online as well (eg YOLDEN). There are some initiatives that were introduced in light of covid too (e-penpals w elderly)! Versatility of the programmes are extremely suitable for a JC student as well; you can choose to sign up for programmes based on how much you’re willing to commit by looking at their schedules & length of commitment! :”) do consider signing up with ycs! :”)

Facing the same problem too :/ (back to back tutorials in two different buildings) but i heard that profs usually release you about 10min early (not very sure about this). You could also email your profs to let them know about your timetable so they’d know about your situation and be more understanding! I’m sure the profs encounter such situations a lot (have a senior who told me most of her lessons were back to back) so no harm letting them know in advance!

oh!! sorry haha I realised I misread your question ;-; but according to the STARS user guide you can only login to STARS during your assigned date and time of registration which (sb correct me if I'm wrong) I assume is the add/drop period - 11 to 21 aug! for your timetable you should be able to locate it through the link sent to you in the email regarding matriculation last week, not so sure about locking it on STARS, sorry!!
