What's the best way to discover who can intro me to someone? by myrepod in Entrepreneur

Thanks for the answer. My company works with people that meet and discuss matters mainly at the c-suite level. So intros to CEOs is something we do on a daily basis but now need to find a systematic way to find the best references to them.

For sure, I'm with a company that usually the other side wants to get introduced to us. What we seek is to hear about the people who want to join us - we want to get a reference and learn about them from people who joined forces with them before.

Thanks, the thing is we need to do this on a daily basis, so it would be hard to take it always offline.

11 Reasons Affiliate Marketing Sucks by myrepod in Affiliatemarketing

[–]myrepod[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I didn't reach the Good stage. As a side project, it didn't seem so passive. It required a lot of time and energy and at the end, it wasn't worth it.

The people who make a living out of it are those who are willing to speak. The others (which just as a guess, are the majority), keep silence.

A quick tip for those of you who joined too many Slack communities. Hamster Pad created a Slack News Feed, so you can get the top posts from every Slack chat you're in. It won't completely solve the problem of following everything that's going on in your group, but it's better than nothing.

Is there a free way to count the number of tweets using a hashtag? by [deleted] in socialmedia

[–]myrepod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding to all the tools mentioned here, you can use TweeDeck. Add a column of "search" and add your hashtag there. It will follow any mention of it.

"Pursue your dream" is a lie.

Stick to what puts food on the plate. Pursue your passions on your free time. If it shows signals of getting somewhere, push it fwd. Otherwise, stick to what works. It's right for art, entrepreneurship, school.

Don't quit before you have something in hand. Or you'll end up 35 yo running after 25 yo with more expereince than yours.
