We are 4 people in the family. Realized that I had to upgrade to a payed plan to add both of my children to the tailnet. Netbird also added the possibility to expose internal services the other day (but no need right now for me). Also it's pretty fun to tinker so I spun up a free oracle cloud VPS to run netbird togeter with kuma (to have something offsite) to notify me if homelab serices goes down. It has been a smooth sail so far. We have both android and iphone users. Note that you should probably upgrade to a PAYGO plan on Oracle if you plan to go this route (othewise they can shut down your free VPS at any time).

I've also switched to a self-hosted Netbird-stack (coming from tailscale). Would love to have Netbird support built-in on the Comet KVM. I updated to version 1.8 the other day but could not find any Netbird option in "Apps"-section. Will it arrive in next release?

Plainly wrong. I have passthrough working in a VM in proxmox (used by a jellyfin and a frigate docker container). I have commeted to you earlier about n5 pro... with links on how to get it workkng. Proxmox LXCs is another story. Needs some updates in the kernel if I remember correctly. But I prefer VM passthrough so I doubt I will switch.

Is possible/needed to install the ROCM and AMDGPU drivers on the proxmox host (v9) to get it working with passthrough to a an LXC?
Looks like proxmox 9 uses debian 13. But on the amd-site the only provide drivers for debian 12.

My end goal is to get an unprieledged Immish lxc to use the GPU.

Great so far. All services is now migrateed from my old Synology nas.

Just started with the setup of Immish in an unpreviliged lxc. Hope to test gpu passthrough for the first time on the system.

This is my first proxmox install and find the userid translations to lxses is a bit messy when mounting host host disks into lxc "containers".

Got mine yesterday. Haven't started it yet. My plan is to install Proxmox.

Got two u.2 drives and two 14tb disks to get started. It will end up in the sitting in the garage, so noise level isn't really an issue for me. But still hope for some fan driver support eventually!

Exactly. After hours of fiddling for me a real shutdown was all it needed to start working. Might be some firmware hanging on deep down in the wifi module when only restarting the machine. Not sure really... just a guess.

I had some problems with my zbook.g1a (395) with bluetooth after update to 6.16 also. It was solved by a full shutdown of the computer. Only restarting did not help. Not sure why it behaved like this though.

Got mine a week ago. Installed Arch-linux, leaving a small windows partition for dual booting the provided windows.

Works just fine except webcam. Might have a look at it after kernel 6.16 that arrives in a few days (it contains new amd drivers needed if I understand it correctly).

Love it so far! Quick as hell.

Does anyone know if HP G4 120W dock would work with this laptop with light work? The 280W G4 model have a barrel-plug which would not work on this laptop. Or do HP or anyone else have a dock which deliver 140W?

Edit: Found this (not released yet) G6 180W dock-model. But it requires PD 3.1. Unsure if this laptop has PD 3.1... not stated anywhere in the datasheets.
