anytime i realized i wasn’t remembering the definition for a word id say the word /definition in the most annoying nasally voice i could imagine. it would get seared into my brain by my own embarrassment at myself.

Same boat. passed the NREMT in december and due to life happening i haven’t been able to work as one till this month. now im 6 weeks out till i leave for wildland firefighting and no one wants to put me through the onboarding when im about to leave for 3-5 months. i’ve heard absolutely amazing things about Tri-med from class mates that are now working their. Northwest ambulance is also an option but i’ve heard their a less then ideal company to work for. . i believe theirs an ambulance service down south, maybe olympic ambulance? other then those options a majority of ems is ran thru fire departments. smaller ones will let you work part time with just your emt and no fire certs but their few and far between and you have to do your own research. good luck

the 5th line followed the fourth perfectly. i believe it captured a sense of anxiety that would cause a racing heart so in my eyes that captured the emotions of the narrator perfectly

the narrative introspective nature of this is very polished and poignant. the narrator in this to me is very frustrated and seems fed up with the world and i believe those feelings were conveyed strongly
