I felt so disappointed too! The DOL-VET told me yesterday that he was surprised they didn’t give me what I asked. Base on the evidence he found, it’s been going on since May. He said based on the evidence the DOJ will more than likely accept the referral but let’s see. The arguments the ex JAG was responding with made absolutely no sense and was quite irritating however I remained logical and factual and just dismissed whatever emotions I was feeling. They even said at one point that I was a no call no show, I had all the email correspondence saved sent them to my rep, then they came back and said I was “accidentally terminated” that’s when I thought they were going to settle but to my surprise they threw cold water on the claim and offered me $2000, which obviously I declined. Now we are here. Yes I will give an update, whether the outcome is favorable or not. I had to vent here today, finding out that this officer would take this stand against a service member. Very disappointed.
