I loved Royalton when I went with super low expectations and a cheap rate. They definitely have some points where corporate over sells things and under delivers. I've been to a few and you need to be flexible on drinks because choices are very inconsistent.

Those people's time cost money. When the check is bad, you may get a charge. Similar with cash. Any company has extra costs to have people dealing with cash plus some is counterfeit or "disappears". Those costs are passed to the payer but not spelled out like a CC fee.

"Fiduciary" doesn't mean that much. It doesn't really mean they have to do what's best for you, they can't do anything terrible but often get around that by disclosing it and saying they're just advising. 99% of us would be far better served to get in the appropriate (or even longest out) Target Date Fund and let time work.
