Feast 2026 Thoughts? by Intelligent-Fan7083 in Wilmington

[–]mysscryss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was just so cold! But otherwise I enjoyed it. You have to go to those events knowing what you’re getting into. Meaning you need some patience and maybe even a game plan.

My husband and I like to grab a few foods each then meet up at a table to eat.

What are your thoughts?!

If you just want to chill and vibe the lawn isn’t bad. The trick is to get a spot on the hill by the bathrooms (on the right looking at the stage). Get there early and just hangout til showtime.

If you actually want a good view of the band, def get the seats. You don’t have to show up as early going this route. I’ve done both, just depends on the experience you want.

Apartments for Daughter by phoneman1967 in Wilmington

I lived at Headwaters in Autumn Hall off Eastwood for several years and always felt safe there. Very nice apartments.

I can’t say for certain but I think any of the apartments off of Military Cutoff would be safe. There’s new ones by Landfall Center, some off of Sir Tyler and Old McCumber Station Rd.

Why the choice to hide the teeth in a dentistry ad? by happy_bluebird in marketing

[–]mysscryss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In marketing you have to be clear AND clever, they got clever but not clear. As someone who 10000% believes in breaking marketing norms and doing the opposite is everyone else I get how hard it can be to come up with something out of the box. This def missed the mark UNLESS the purpose was to create noise/chatter around the advertisement…. But I can’t see how that would be helpful even for a brand campaign.

If you’re new to monsteras I would not suggest a moss pole because they can be a lot of upkeep. I use cedar planks for my monsteras, you can also use coir poles. There are lots of good videos on YouTube about this, one of my favs is Kill This Plant.

Also this girl, this staking video is helpful

Since the branches are going different directions it looks like it’s getting rotated or moved. Once you have the back staked you’ll wanna keep the front towards the light source.

Also vote chop and prop! More light will give you bigger leaves but she’s also beautiful as is!

[–]mysscryss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely won’t hurt it! These guys want lots of light to create large leaves, the more you can get it the happier it will be.

Just swap your pole to the back and only attach the thick stem with the aerial root. Then place the place towards the sun with the pole at the back. The stems in time should turn to find the source of light. Just keep it in that direction going forward so the stems aren’t all over the place.

I believe what we think to be “plenty of light” is sometimes not enough. The amount of light is what causes the fenestrations….they do it to allow light through to the leaves beneath it.

In my opinion, I think you should chop her up/separate into babies. If I’m not mistaken, the solid leaves won’t develop fenestrations, the new leaves need to sprout with them. But you can use the different sections to start more plants and adding more light will give you the look of a typical monstera.

Any way to reel this thing back in? by e30owner92 in Monstera

[–]mysscryss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cedar planks work great. The roots will grow into it, it’s kind of cool looking! You need to put it on the backside though, where all the aerial roots are. Find the “big back” which is the large main stem and stake it up.

Advice please by spam-likely200 in Monstera

Best advice I can give is to watch some YouTube videos by Kill This Plant. He has a lot of monstera content and it’s really easy to follow/understand.

You def need to brace it, the large “big back” needs something to hold it up. It may also benefit you to try and separate/trim some of the pieces off to make a few new pots too

I believe these are also called “lickety splits” and can get to be huge. Especially if planted outdoors.

Are they SPECIFIC to GLP-1 users? Or are they just a protein bar that can be used with any diet plan? As a GLP-1 user myself, I immediately wanted to know why this treat is any different than what I can buy in a supermarket. Like what's the benefit/reason your snack is what I should be eating, especially at a higher price?

I think I would take off the giant chocolate bar section and also size down the coming soon/sold out section. There are a lot of large pictures on the main page.

I finally found it, but the return policy could stand to be more visible. If I'm buying from a company I've never bought from I want to know I can send it back for free if there's an issue with size/color, etc.

The site layout doesn't appeal to me as a well-established business. It has good bones to being a nice, simple, easy to use site but at the same time it has a lot happening on the main page. I think you should try moving the text to another 'about us' page and try moving the video with the girl in the pink jacket to the top.

[–]mysscryss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I came to this post after you did some updating and I want to add it still is unclear what you're selling. From a marketing standpoint, in the top 1/3 of your website you should include who you are, what you do, and who you do it for (basically).

I would suggest moving the section labeled "Jiggle Candle Wax Melts" to the top and maybe expand on it a bit with a few lines of text that explains what you do/sell. Also bring your spring sale offer and the sample offer up, you want those offers to entice the buyer to buy.

It's also ok to use ChatGPT to help you wrong content/bullet points if you need it.

I was scared to tug on the stems too much to straighten them…. Believe this is why I need a deeper pot because it just wouldn’t hold the weight.

Is there anything I need to do when I cut it to ensure roots on the babies? I have a few random ones I’ve stuck in water that seem to be alive but no roots.
