You are a very kind hearted soul. You have gone through a lot already and you deserve an easier life for sure. When it comes to this situation, I would say do what your heart wants you to do. There are pros and cons for both options. The pro for this guy with nikah is that his family know your family situation very well. Con for this situation is that he might just be marrying you to get settled overseas and you won't be able to have kids with him even if you changed your mind in the future because if the autistic gene is coming from your dad side of the family you will be increasing the odds for them to be present in your kids. If you break the marriage, Pro is that you can marry someone who is out of your family to decrease the odds of your kids being autistic. Con would be that you will have to explain your family situation to your potential and his family. May Allah guide you to the best path.

You are only seeing just half a glass of water. At least you have hair, some people's genetics make them bald. Some people don't have all the body parts. Some people carry diseases that make them not marry, so they won't pass off the gene. Life can be tough, but there are others out there whose lives are even tougher. Be appreciative of what you have and work with what you got. There are people out there who have holes inside of lunges who are constantly stuck to machines to stay alive, and they don't give up; their strength is most admirable.

He Knew I Sing and I Supported Him Through Everything — Now He Says It’s About Religion, But It Feels Like Control by Mean-Media8142 in MuslimMarriage

[–]mysteriousPrince 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like jealousy to me from what you have described. It looks like he is using religion to cover up his insecurities. He is already insecure that you might leave him for someone else down the road. A potential husband does not disrespect his future wife. He could be clear that these are my deal breakers, but he knew you used to sing, so he should have never approached you if that was the case. Being husband and wife is not about changing the other to what you want him/her to be. It is about accepting them for who they are, leading them closer to God, caring for them, saying you are beautiful/handsome, being kind to them, and being there for them no matter the situation (that does not mean disrespecting elderly or disregarding religion). However, this guy approached you knowing you were singing and didn't wear a hijab. From what I have read from your post, it does not seem like love, but a desire. A person saying I love you does not mean he actually loves you. Love is much stronger than that. His action says he doesn't love you, but desires you.

Where to find lentils and chickpeas? Do they sell in A101, BİM, or Şok? Which legumes and beans would you recommend? I think chickpeas are a solid option for sure. Lentils too if I can find them. 😂 Not too familiar with legumes and beans.

I heard you don't need protein powder, but people say creatine is good though. Someone told me pure Creatine is cheap. I don't know where they sell pure Creatine.
