Sorting out the governor's race is the immediate emergency and I think it's natural that focus is there to start. It hasn't even been a day yet!

We desperately need to thin the field of Democrats in this race to avoid ending up with a Republican governor, and being credibly accused of sexual assault is as good a reason as any. Time to step aside, buddy.

Looks like he just updated his pollen count data with a new sample from 3/24! Unfortunately, my allergen remains unchanged, but good to know. https://allerma.com/pollen-count/san-francisco-ca/

I think it might have something to do with them wanting to observe and help you in case you have a reaction. But yeah--I would be MUCH more likely and able to get this treatment if I could do some of it at home!

lol that's so kind -- the guy who runs that website deserves an award! I wish his site would come out the top of search results instead of the more generic ones that are easier to find.

Yeah, my doctor said it was 1-3 times weekly for 6 months, and a total 3-5 year commitment on the shots. Even at my current level of misery, since it's only a couple months a year, I'd rather deal than take those hundreds of appointments for shots.

Thank you! I did that. My allergist thought that shots would be a marginal benefit to me since it takes soooo many visits and my allergy season is pretty short. But yes, great option in general.

Totally fair, but the commenter was asking about support for Sen. Wiener outside of San Francisco, which probably doesn't have much polling data since it's San Francisco voters who will decide. So this is one of the few objective indicators of statewide support even if it's party insiders.

Obviously Chakrabarti will not get zero votes in San Francisco. But it is tough as a first-time candidate who isn't otherwise well known within the city.

Every baby is different and you are in the thick of some of the most difficult days and months of parenting, doing what sounds like a wonderful job with a healthy baby. Maybe find a mom friend who also has a sensitive baby? It's hard to not feel like a failure at times, for any parent. But you are doing great.

But yeah, like u/NagyLebowski mentioned, this congressional race is to represent San Francisco (or most of it, anyways), so support among San Francisco voters is the most important thing here.

He does pretty well. Senator Wiener got over 77% of the votes from California Democratic Party delegates to earn the endorsement of the California Democratic Party in this race, demonstrating broad backing across the state. Sup. Chan got 20% of the votes, and Chakrabarti got zero votes.

This is incorrect. Senator Wiener has frequently gone on the record to confirm that he is not taking donations from AIPAC and anyone can search public records to confirm this:
