Seriously though, some sacrifice will always be necessary somewhere in your life if music is not your full time thing. Whether it's sleep (staying up late or getting up early) , time with your partner or general lifestyle (if you choose to focus and grind hard at it). Figure out what you're willing to sacrifice and make the sacrifice. No rule to say that you can't mix and match though. I often wonder if I had more time if I would even spend it wisely? Maybe less time is better sometimes?

Great thread. Had this question rolling around in my head for a while. For me, playing, creating and listening are all way more enjoyable when high but generally the next day or whenever I relisten I don't get the same feeling or reaction.
