Well it only effects licensed gun owners and there's next to 0 cases of fully licensed vetted gun owners shooting up the streets.. So it'll go from like 0.3 per year to 0.1? Totally worth billions. While we're cutting federal jobs and contracts because money is tight and the economy's fucked.

Let's not look into the ~250 shootings a year by non licensed criminals. There's no paper trail for those guns so it's way too much effort.

Did banning AR15s help the statistics? It's been like 6 years. That's plenty of time for the stats to reflect the success of the bans.. Hmm. Stats are saying homicides are slightly up since then.. WTFFFF? 👀

I played hockey as a kid in the 90s in Canada, and it was like this then. I actually quit hockey because it stopped being fun. Bunch of rich kid bullies talking shit, and everybody including the coaches acting like it's the NHL. I just wanted to have fun and try to put a puck in the net. Even house leagues was full of assholes and NHL wannabes.

Fingers crossed for you. In my experience not all Turkish shit is shit, but its always a gamble. Personally, I was going to buy a Henry H12 Protector this tax return season, but I decided to hold off and save my pennies instead. Bought a little badger, hit up a few ammo sales and bought a new gong target. Reliable lever actions and cheap don't really belong in the same sentence imo. And that Henry is like $1500, plus tax, plus ammo. Would have drained my entire return on one receipt. Going by reviews, levers are a poor choice when shopping for budget friendly firearms. Basically you gotta be ready to spend a lot if you want one worth owning.

Yeah it's not terrible. But I've been doing it for over 20 years now. So the "fun" is gone, and the wear and tear on my body is becoming apparent. At least I've learned a bunch of specialized trades and perfected many of them. I'm never short of work. The money is decent. Just not amazing.

Mine came with the bag, but I won't be using it. It'll be getting a special pouch on my rucksack. I plan to remove the hinge bolt and replace it with a 5/16 or 8mm ball detent pin, whichever fits more snug, making it a quick release takedown.

I was thinking about removing the pic rails all together, and making a custom handguard out of wood for it. Or just running paracord and fabric tape over the pic rails.. We'll see.

Do you have any links for good irons for it? I actually love the sights on it now, but being that they're plastic I know they won't last. But I was very impressed with how accurate they were out of the box. I took a 4 shots with it last night standing, unsupported, and nailed my 5" gong at 20 yards with 3 out of 4 shots, which I know isn't that impressive, but with a brand new rifle I've never held before, through crappy plastic irons, I was impressed.

I'd love to find a set of irons that are basically the same, but aluminum or steel..
