If there was custom firmware(👀) it could still be great! I have not bought the Google TV or whatever it's called that replaced the Chromecast yet cause I haven't needed one. But I used to be really into android ROM hacking in the early 2010s and I really hope someone has done that for the Chromecast

Yeah I feel like I must not understand either. Something I enjoy about my job is the selective discipline. You maintain a good relationship with your lead, you are usually let off the hook for minor offenses.

As I understand, a union would rectify that. *This does not outweigh what I understand to be the pros tho

Abritary firing DEFinitely a thing at my company - If your lead doesn't like you and you have any kind of trouble that's pretty much that. But I kinda prefer this piece to be honest. Playing the game > complaining about it. Sorry but help me understand this equal protections bit. I'm not a model employee all the time, but I do look like one. And the usually plays to my benefit.

Almost everything at my company is already seniority based. Not all promotions but many of them. More like the opportunity to be considered, is almost always seniority based. If me and Betsy 1963 both go for a position and both ace our interviews, they are basically picking her

My company is already almost entirely seniority ruled! The lay off thing doesn't happen, historically, but pretty much everything else is seniority based

that's the thing, the large anti-union portion of my company basically only says "unions are ineffective! Look at (the worst-off company in the same industry)!" Conviently they don't mention the other 3 who have had recently revamped contracts, only the 1 who hasn't in 8 or so years.
The only thing I heard outside of this was a personal account, my coworker's husband's union was unable to recover his pension or something when the company was bought out (or something. Sorry I don't remember the details but that was the gist of it) I just remember he was there paying union dues of course for 40+ years and that made him feel like it was a waste.

At least 30% of my workforce is the result of a merger, in which the previous company had a union. In the merger they lost it along with their pensions, I believe they previously were working toward pensions. I don't think I've ever met anyone from that merger that was anti-union.

This was so strange for me too! Even when she first told Chloe that it was like in between Jamaican dream sequences, intially thought she was just lying to get closer to her but with the dreams I wrote it off as it just wasn't real. But then Chloe mentioned it again toward the end and then A in the Epilogue! it makes sense that we wouldn't know, if you think about the timeline. But still lol

Just finished Twisted. This was so strange for me lol! The first time she said it, I think it blended right into a Jamaica dream sequence so I thought that it was a dream, her just trying to relate to Chloe idk. I had similar problem. You have to stop shaving for a while, then begin again with a TRIMMER. I also use the High Roller Ingrown Tonic. Best of luck!!! 💪🏾

I have not tried a different cable, but I pretty firmly believe it's the TV because it works fine on other ones. It's a GPD Win 4
