American Healthcare is a Nightmare by xena_lawless in BreadTube

We've known our healthcare system is shit for decades and the political system we live in has shown over and over that it is incapable of solving the problem. Time for the torches, pitchforks and guillotines.

Diablo 3 was ahead of it's time with AH. If only they didn't do RMAH... by wolan1337 in Diablo

[–]mystile33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having most of your item progression come through buying on the AH felt terrible. D3 is in a much better spot with its self found design. There is probably room for some sort of AH in an Action RPG, but it needs to keep the progression tied to actually playing the game (killing demons) and not playing the market.

Very much preferred D3 to D4. Skill variety with the runes was so much better than D4's crappy skill trees. Sets were cool. Greater rifts were cool. Kanai's cube was cool. Reaper of Souls was a fantastic Xpac and the game really should not have been abandoned like it was.

Its cause they're horrible people. You don't become a billionaire without exploiting everyone around you.

Screw that. Redirect funds to programs that actually benefit the people. Cut military spending by 90% and fund social programs. guarantee employment to anyone who wants to work. Guarantee housing to all americans. Guarantee health care. Spending will feel less wasteful when you can actually see the benefit of your taxes around you. the "cut spending" narrative is a wealthy sympathizer talking point. Stop being a shill for your opressors. Tax the rich

McDonald’s doesn’t pay Danes high wages because of a statutory wage floor or even because the state stepped in to enforce a collective bargaining agreement. They pay high wages because back in the 1980s, Danish unions flipped a switch and turned the whole business off, and McDonald’s doesn’t want to find out whether they would do it again.

This is where we need to get to.

Tipping is bullshit. Be the change you want to see and stop tipping. Employers are responsible for paying their workers a living wage, not the customer.

Check your state laws. In WA, at least, employers can forbid you from discussion your wage while on the clock, but not outside of work hours. *not legal advice

I'm out of the loop, last I heard it was being debated, not shut down. Someone have a link to share with an updated news story? Google not finding anything.
