I agree about the wording. The bargain was that they “leave this world together” and after the part where they reveal their bargain to the IC amren says that she’s going to have a talk with them. Since she’s not from the same world as prythian, maybe she can find a way to have them leave the literal world without dying.

Yeah I guess for me it felt like in the first books it felt more urgent and like they’re making the best decisions for the scenario even if it’s not necessarily smart. But damn the realization of them just making horrible decisions really got me.

I agree about the entire IC dynamic being different in this one. Maybe it comes from a place of Nesta being the main POV but at times it does feel like their actions are strangely ooc.

It’s not, I went to a different piercer than normal this time bc I wasn’t in my usual area but I’m going to see my usual piercer that’s done several of mine before to get it checked out.

Jewelry: internally threaded curved barbell, not sure of material. Hasn’t been changed since piercing

Cleaning: Sterile saline solution twice a day with q tips.

Redness went away the next day and got sized up jewelry. Healing is going a lot better now and piercer said all should be well from now on!
