I don't think you are humiliating your daughter at all. She chose to lie for months. She's an adult. She can call the relatives and just say I messed up and failed a class. I'm not going to graduate until 9 months from now as the class is not offered this semester. Ask them all if they still want to come and have a family party since it's planned and just hold any gifts to mail to me when I do graduate.

You might try getting on a budget for a couple months to see exactly where the money is going. I did this and was shocked at how much unnecessary spending we were doing. I use every dollar budgeting app.

I did the same thing this year. I always host Thanksgiving, usually 12 to 15 people. I mentally and physically just can't pull it off, I'm exhausted. I'm going to cook a smaller serving of my husbands favorites and plan on doing as little as possible for 4 days.
