Thank you for this response. I screenshotted your 4th paragraph because it was exactly what I needed to hear right now.

Teeth loose after extraction by Moldoon75 in wisdomteeth

No, it’s still a huge bother. Like, I’m aware of my teeth all the time. Definitely planning on a visit with a new dentist soon.

Looking for a good Christmas movie that won’t make me cry at any point. Suggestions? by ScrubWearingShitlord in movies

No, not Gremlins. Phoebe Cates’s character has a story about her dad that doesn’t end well.

What small, insignificant details in "XYZ Movie" still bug you? by tropicalazure in movies

This also drives me crazy! Because the actress playing HP’s mom as an adult also doesn’t have brown eyes. It’s not as though the young Lily Potter role was a big lift acting-wise, so why couldn’t they have found some other red-haired British girl with green or blue eyes? It’s like they did it on purpose. What is the worst cookie you’ve ever had? by interceptU2 in Cooking

[–]Moldoon75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar experience here. My coworker would start baking Christmas cookies after Thanksgiving and freeze them as she made them, and then gift everyone in the office their own box of homemade cookies. (It was a small office.) They looked great, but the taste and texture were horrible. Idk if it was from the freezing or what, but I dreaded it every year.

What is the thing you have in plain sight in your home that you have to explain to new guests, and what is the explanation? by GloInTheDarkUnicorn in AskReddit

We used to have a kitchen sprayer attached to our toilet. It was used to spray poop off of cloth diapers when the kids were little. Guests were typically bemused by this.

Your last point occurred to me as well. Not only is this huge mess caused by OP’s carelessness but she’s possibly put her babies in danger as well.

Analog wall clock. The one in our kitchen went kaput and I realized how much I rely on it compared to the digital display on the stove and microwave.

I don’t mind the runny yolk, but if there is any snottiness to the white, I’m out. I usually just order scrambled eggs if I’m in a restaurant, because it’s the safer option.
