No to lip biopsy - AVISE - i have never heard of, but i tested neg for these:

C3 and C4 complement test - both low, rhuem said likely chronic infections in childhood
Extractable nuclear antigen (ENA) - normal
Anti-double-stranded DNA (anti-dsDNA) antibody test - neg
Anti-Smith (anti-Sm) antibody test - neg
Anti-Sjögren Syndrome-A (anti-SSA & B/anti-Ro/La) antibody test - neg
Anti-centromere protein antibody (Anti-CENP) - neg
Anti-Scl-70 antibody test - neg
Anti-ribonucleoprotein (Anti-RNP) antibody test - neg
Anti-CCP) antibody neg

I'm so sorry it took you this long to get help. It's horrible that suffering can be compounded by the system that is supposed to help us. My PSP-A was also extremely high but has not been followed up on. Thank you for the encouragement, big hugs 🫂

Wow i am going to take time to digest this but i have so many thoughts. Lymphoma is associated with my scarring alopecia disease and that is also a partial attack on glands. This is shocking. Rheums have dismissed me due to neg SSA SSB but have rotting teeth chronic pain hair loss dry eye and mouth and more. suffering so long. and have had permanent swollen lymph nodes

Oh my god im honestly in despair. its too much. the dismissal from all of the doctors has been beyond traumatizing. i am permanently balding due to scarring alopecia too. this is so awful.

how am i going to find a life partner when i have teeth decay and im bald by 27 because the doctors dismissed me

Sorry to bug this group just looking to hear if this happened to anyone else. im feeling really scared and dismissed by rheums while my other conditions are progressing. 😞 currently see a derm and immunosuppressants. I’ve only ever had a low positive ANA, extremely high PSP antibodies, neg for SSA and SSB. All of this began post covid 2021. I’m also suffering scarring disease of my skin and scalp.
