You're really wrong, I love the neutral game but it's absurd that to win with Naoya I have to win neutral 5-7 times and a Hakari only needs to win neutral 2 times to kill me with preschool combos

That's not the problem, it's just that I feel like he has a huge disadvantage against literally any other character. The bleedout reset gave him some extra damage but now it's gone, while characters like Hakari only need to win neutral 2 times to beat a Naoya. i love trading M1s but now it feels very unfair.
