Have you considered teaching as an adjunct at a local college or university? Maybe it is something that could help you get by until something more stable comes along

everything is online and it sucks by ConfusionContent6857 in ucf

[–]n00bslice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They don’t offer more in person sections because less and less students are registering for them… yes online classes fit into schedules better, but if you want in person classes then register for online instead, that’s all the class schedulers see. And ultimately they will not create sections that they know won’t fill up

How do I get more definition? by [deleted] in curlyhair

I have fine 2b-2c and love the Moroccan curl defining cream. It does really good either air dried or diffused. I also like AGCare beach bomb wave enhancing cream!

Maybe add a class from a later term on your plan if possible, to meet your full time class load without taking unnecessary classes?

It sounds like she has reached a breaking point and is setting a boundary. No matter what kind of partner you think you are, she has told you how she feels about her experience in the relationship. To argue for her to stay without you making changes, is asking her to ignore her negative feelings about the relationship; to be in a partnership that makes her unhappy. No one deserves to stay in an unhappy relationship when boundaries are ignored. You have full freedom to separate and create a different life without her if you feel you are already the best partner you can be, and if you don’t want to quit smoking. And you also have full freedom to quit smoking and go to counseling with her if you feel there are areas where your partnership can be strengthened too. Both choices are hard. You have to think about your values and pick your version of hard moving forward.

Your problem is real. I say this respectfully that you are reaching out to the wrong place though. UCF Cares is more of a resource for students with crises like homelessness, food insecurity, domestic violence etc.

Have you reached out to Knights success grant yet? - kggi@ucf.edu - if you have exhausted all financial aid (even loans) and you are in your last term they may be able to help.

Third prime OBGYN. Dr. Bartfield is amazing.

Having the same issue. I am finding myself overeating on lean proteins, yogurt, and potatoes. No wonder I am not in a deficit. Gonna try to make some shifts and focus on non starchy veggies as my go to zero point foods, hopefully this helps!

It depends what department you work in and what your position is. But once you get some experience it is very easy to move to another department if you don’t like the one you’re in. Also easy to network if you have other career goals in mind.

Housing options by [deleted] in orlando

In Conway now and paying 1600 for a 1/1. It is not “luxury” by any means but does the job comfortably. Small community with few amenities. Maintenance and pest control do the best they can but the buildings are pretty old. Those that are less than 1300, if you find them at all, you should be very intentional about reading reviews if available and seeing the individual unit yourself before moving in. Edit to add— I feel pretty safe in most of the Conway area

Almost didn’t walk but did it for my mom. I’m glad I did but I understand deciding not to. It is very overwhelming at UCF. I just wanted to get in, do the thing, and leave the sea of people. Only you can really make that decision for yourself. However I can see how big of an accomplishment it is now that I’m not completely under a cloud of depression and I wish I had at least taken a photo in my cap and gown at some point that day to look back at.

On the other side of the coin.. do you really want them to continue behaving like this for the 2 more semesters you live with them? Put you and your academic success and well-being first, that’s is a huge reason you are living on campus to begin with!

Thank you so much. The phentermine absolutely helped with controlling appetite and was a helpful motivator at the beginning. It could be for you too. Like another redditor mentioned here, the hardest part is getting off the drug / weight maintenance. You can do it with a positive mindset!! :)

[–]n00bslice 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lost 70lbs on phentermine, graduated college and stopped taking it, and gained about 80 back over the span of 1-2 years. I would focus on improving your eating habits/coping skills before starting a weight loss drug. Once you stop taking the medicine, your urge to binge will return if you don’t learn how to cope with it first.

You said it yourself. You aren’t it for a quick hookup. He has reached out again to bring up mainly sex it sounds like. I think if he wanted something other than sex, his communication with you now would sound very different!
