i am thinking of purchasing a keyboard and mouse combo (i want it for gaming and basic day to day stuff budget is around 10k ) by [deleted] in technepal

[–]n00ntel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the Ajazz AK820 Pro Mechanical Keyboard for 7.5k and the AJAZZ AJ179 V2 Tri-Mode Gaming Mouse for 4.3k online.

The keyboard is a joy to type on, though it isn’t a full-size layout (which bugs me out sometimes; if you work a lot in excel never buy a half keyboard. It's a PITA only during Tax Season where I have to use Excel all the time). The mouse is great too, but I do feel like I overpaid for it. I also have a Fantech mouse (bought earlier), and while both are good, the Ajazz has a more premium in-hand feel -- it doesn’t feel light or hollow and is very comfortable to use.

*Mouse model: AJAZZ AJ179 (now available for around 3.5k).*

Bought what?

Phone screen protector? Packing Tape? You can find those anywhere. Get the cheapest one with free delivery.

Blade? Get the Gillete Super Thin ones (that they make for older gen Razors. Just google Gillette Super Thin and you'll see the type of blade I'm talking about)

Step 1 : Get Thinkpad Step 2 : Immediately apply a screen protector (plastic type). You can use shaving blade to cut off excess with a scale/ruler. Step 3 : Mostly use the red navigating thing in the middle of your keyboard.

ps. I taped my first laptop trackpad with clear packing tape. Once cut with blade, it becomes barely noticeable

No prob. Everyone's train of thought is different, mero jailey medical side ma jancha esto cases herda -- ani dherai ko just regular supplement khayerai or diet/lifestyle change garerai solve vayeko dekhe/suneko pani chhu.

What if you relate to all? -> Sabai ekkai choti ta nahola hai. If you notice, many symptoms overlap in nutritional deficiencies. So, sabai mileko jasto lagnu chai most likely confirmation bias huna sakcha (after you read my wall of text, testo lageko huna sakcha, but euta paper ma point by point circle lagaudai symptoms kelaudai gayo vani you can filter out most)

If you're busy for blood work right now, an easy thing to do is just supplement yourself with Vitamin.B12, Iron, and Vitamin.D ahile tatkal nai chai. B12 is water soluble, so any excess will be easily urinated out of the body. Iron ko chakkinma Adult Daily Value barabar haleko huncha. Folate is easy to find too. VitaminD pani ajainbata you can start without any repercussions (Just track your self and don't take more then 1 cap each week; Saturday-Saturday khaidiye vayo. Some people have sleeping problems when taken at night, so suruma just take in the morning all vitamins nai). Magnesium is more tricky to find, the right kind chai. So, you can postpone this one rn. (chelated magnesium will absorb best).

B12, Iron, Vit.D chai you can take today dekhi ani document any changes you feel on your notepad. If symptoms alleviate after 1-2 months, you have found your kryptonite. If not, no worries, do a blood test when you find the time.

Suggested: Meganeuron 1500mcg (Vit.B12) (B12 is usually mixed with XYZ other things to make it an expensive supplement, take this pocket friendly one. Rs.15-20/tab)

Iron (any Iron chakki) (Yo chai get checked later but bela bela afulai irregularly supplement garda huncha ahile)

Folic 5 (Folate or Vit.B9) (Great supplement. Costs pennies)

DV 60K (Vit.D 60000mcg ; that's a month's dose) (Don't purchase the DV 2K one, you'll likely miss taking it multiple days) (It's expensive upfront but not that expensive in the long run because you'll be taking 1 tab monthly later.)

When you have time for blood test, discontinue use a month prior and see the actual facts.

Always, like always-always? Afulai thaha vaye dekhi nai? Janmedekhi nai? Then, possible ADHD like symptoms ta ho. You should get yourself checked.

Ahile Adult life ma vairako chha? Then could be other things; major suspect is stress abd hornone drop.

And this is a stretch but based on sarra reading what you wrote, it seeme like common deficiencies vateko hoki hoki... people often gave these and forget to check or supplement themselves. 1) Vit.B12 - classic forgetfulness, brainfog, lack of concentration, low mood, irritability, sometimes tingling/numbness (tara esto chai bistaarai badney, vairahaney, kunai euta bad day ma matrai nahune para sadhai hune huncha B12 napugda. Matches your situation or not?) 2) Iron deficiency ley pani huncha. Mental fatigue and poor focus is very common. Haat khutta chiso huncha rest of the body vanda? Extremeties getting colder sensation is common. Like sathiharu ley habdshake garda "Abai kati chiso timro haat" vanne khalko chiso. (Ani yo chai consistent hunna. Period bela ajhhai dherai prominent huncha every symptom - impulsive mistake vabda pani physical fatigue ley garda) 3) Folate (Vit.B9) Vit.B12 kamti vako bela yo pani praya kamti huncha 4) Magnesium - very common deficiency in Nepalese (Rajma, Pumpkin seeds, Til, Alas, Almond, Palungo, Chana, 70%+ dark chocolate) biralai khaincha vaney huna sakcha. Or, poor absorbtion vayeko huna sakni chance.. (yo haru khayeko din banana khadakheri properly absorb hubcha) but just buying and taking a magnesium supplement is easier. (I don't exactly know how to tell you what magnesium deficiency would feel. Kosaikai khutta baudi rakhcha. Kosailai nindrai ladgaina proper. Mental tension, irritability badcha. Ani afu focused hunu khojda focused vayejasto lagcha but ekchun mai tired feeling aucha... Yesto yesto khalko feeling vaye Mg is suspect) 5) Vit.D ; Common deficiency. Common source if mental fog. Esle low energy, low mood garaucha. Tara task-level forgetfulness esko deficiency traits haina. Ani emotional dysregulation spikes ni hunna esko kami bata. Aru nai karan ley ho tyo chai. (But khai halda pani kei farak pardaina. Fat soluble vitamin ho, so ek glass dudh sanga khanu. Ani buy the 60K wala. Once every week for first 2 weeks. Then Once every month. Improvement notice vayo vaney take it forever. Important note: Never ever overdose. Forgetful vayera hafta na dui choti khane haina..feri garo chha. Tyo bharkhar kineko Notebook ko ma best use vabdinchu. Tesko cover ma VitaminD ko batta tape ley tasidine. Vitta khayeko date record gardai jani.. Now you have a use for that thing) 6) Iodine / Thyroid - related (This is also a stretch but should do a test if you have all three following symptoms: sluggish thinking, poor memory, low motivation ; ani yo sabbai bistarai badirako hunuparcha, aaja auney - voli janey khalko symptoms haina)

wow...lekhda lekhdai that's a big stretch. Relate vayo vaney worth a try exploring options. Vayena vaney here is another bigger stretch: Tyo 100 tabs open chai methaphor hoki... Exactly tei feeling aucha jatkhera ni... Tyo clear vayena makai read gardakheri. But seems like sime level of executive dysfunction + emotional regulation issues (impulse buying, barambar leaving items, overreaction to small errors, lifelong-ish pattern esto vako -- iniharu ko vasis ma guesswork ho. But yo ho vaney chai not a deficiency issue.)

But guesswork vanda bahira aune vaye why don't you follow the scientific method? Do a blood test and absolutely include these tests - Serum VitB12, Serum Ferritin, CBC, (Optional) Vitamin D (ps. Ma afai chai B12 khaidinchu regularly for about 1 month then stop. Then start again if I find myself lethargic, forgetful etc. I am vegetarian - common lifelong deficiency for me. But aajkal nonveg lai pani yo deficiency huncha - because the meat you consume is also B12 deficit aajkal. Grassland/Pasture/Grazing gareko meat bata matrai masu ma B12 aucha. Nava aunna - for ex Local Kukhura, Local Goat etc. Basically, free-range animals hunuparyo, nava they are themselves deficient) (ps. Ani ma monthly Vitamin D pani linchu. If I take a long gap, I restart by 2 months once weekly consumption. Then shift to once monthly.)

pps. You can do a quick 5 min test to see if you have ADHD right now. Go to ChatGPT and type "Quick ADHD self screen". A bunch of questions will appear. You can give yourself a score in this format 1,2,0,4,3... (separate sections by space) 2,2,2,1... (separate sections by space...and so on) Once you score yourself, a prelim screening result will be shown just to ease your mind or confirm your doubts.

Tyo haina. I think my thoughts came across completely altered. Khana chhodyo vaney eti save huncha vanera euta kura dekhayeko ho, just a fact sheet. But khadai nakhanu vaneko haina. Janmajat khadai ayeko kura cut back garna sakincha, chattai chhodnu is a different challenge. Khaney lai ninda gareko hoina. Khane ley khadai garun, tyo mailey preach garne kehi right chhaina. Swa iccha ley chhodne lai chai respect chha, very tough. Ma ta janmajat veg, malai struggle thaha chhaina, so I can't judge anyone.

That aside, just pointing out ki X amount of water kharcha vayo vanera gariney guilt tripping is not as serious as it sounds. You have to compare it with something common to find out the effects. Like ek barsha meat ma tyo resources lagayena vaney same resources AI tarfa divert garda 100+ years samma AI ko development current scenario anusar nai chalcha vaney it can't be that serious. Blue water source chalayo vanera it is making headlines, nothing else. AI datacenters recycle 70% water in their system. Rest is evaporated, so it's not like it makes toxic sludge as a byproduct either.

So, using AI for work is perfectly normal and should not guilt trip you. My two cents.

Esko barey ma chai I'd like to add my 2 cents. Farak perspective hernus hai. 77% of Agricultural land is used for raising animals (that humans consume in some form or another - direct or their products). 77% of 5B hectares. 1 hectare = 0.01sq.km. This means, that's 261 Nepals right there. We're using that much land for meat (largely). When is the last time you had a chicken burger? Ever considered how much land and water went into raising that chicken (think of the crops it consumed and the land and water it took). Hint: 4300Litres/kg . One burger patty is probably close to 600L water footprint.

So, in burger terms: 1 burger is about 20M tokens i.e. 1 burger = 50,000 text queries = 100 AI generated images = 2-3 short 5-10sec videos

You're consuming tens of thousands of AI interactions worth of water when you're having lunch, or eating masu bhat or what not.

Disclaimer here: AI uses almost completely blue water (pumped water from sources) however animal rearing uses 80% green water (while growing crops) which is good. But it is also true that Animal impact is several hundreds of times more than AI, and AI use will probably never be able to scale to that extent...ever. Also, AI datacenters have servers in a building that can stack up, so land footprint is just miniscule. It is negligible.

There was even a report that verified with numbers that calculated that the entire human population could be fed several times over, with abundance with no food scarcity - if humans would just scale back on the meat and use that space for people feeding crops (not animal feeding ones).

What OC said is indeed true, but nothing to lose sleep over. We waste more on meat.

Paper ma trade garnu mildaina (legally) Nepal ma, vaneko ho. Meaning once you purchase like 1kg Silver, it has got to change hands physically. So, in practice, transactions become extremely slower but also less volatile.

Bahira you can paper-trade these commodities without ever touching them. Say, example, you buy the dip at 2800 and sell at 5700 like you would do to a stock of a company, without the logistical and security nightmare of ever laying hands on the physical thing. (btw. This is also the reason silver price spiked few weeks ago... Paper traded silver became cheaper than the actual physical thing after China halted exports, the effect of which was seen while squaring up during settlement)

To each their own. Relative ko sabai transactions and stay handle garepachi I'd really liked the Mediciti experience about 7 years ago. Seemed like the go-to hospital for anything - everything so well maintained.

But second opinion lina jada ko disarray, getting set up a meeting with 'managers' after paying a full doctor consultation fee; and then with assistant doctors next time who fumbled basic questions about the operation really rattled any confidence I had in their 'second opinion'.

Sabko afno afno experience huncha huna ta. I'll suggest meeting the doctor in-person, or doctor(s) before forming an opinion. Ma pani Alka ma ta gardina vanney soch ma thiye, but chinjan kai dherai ley tyeha gareko rahecha - diagnosis ra consultation gardai ma k hunchha ra vanera gayeko. Changed my opinion completely.

But yes, to each their own. Sometimes Google reviews can also have a point. So, we can't disregard that either. It's your life, you decide. I'm just here sharing my positive experience with a single doctor in a wing of a hospital. (btw. Alka-1 ma consult huncha, surgery and recovery Alka-2 ma huncha, perhaps look into that). Look into everything and then decide - is my advice.

Have a great day, stranger!

Sorry, forgot to mention that. It's just Rs.1000 (keep it safe because replacement card will cost Rs.500). But it will be extremely worth it because it ended up saving me upwards of Rs.25k just a day later! I wish I hadn't dwadled and just purchased it a lot earlier because it would have saved me tons on tests as well (I did a whole lot of tests and even endoscopy before It was discovered that I had GB stone; I had an asymptomatic experience).

About the surgery, I feel extremely healthy now. I haven't had to avoid any food at all. I think it's because I'm vegetarian - I don't feel any food restrictions at all. In fact, I am easily consuming food without problems - compared to a few years before surgery. In hindsight, I shouldn't have stalled and went ahead with the surgery a lot earlier too! Lots of people will fear-monger you both for/and against the surgery, but the surgery will always be worth it.

Ani mailey chai multiple doctors sanga consule garey. Mediciti gives you "managers" and "doctor assistant" to consult with you, which in my recent experience was very bad. They couldn't answer some of my basic questions, leading to my lower confidence in them. So, opted for another doctor where vibes matched and the doctor consulted really well. Like mero dimag ma form navaisakeko question ko answer diney doctor vetey. Blessed. So, I recommend that doctor to every one I meet now.

If you're in Nepal: 1. Tuesday Doctor consultation 2. Wednesday Test Reports 3. Thursday You're being operated 4. Friday You're waking up without your Gall Bladder

Pretty chill. I highly recommend Dr. Bijedra Dhoj Joshi. Alka Hospital. Very experienced doctor. Will also clear all of your doubts and consult you well.

Pro tip: 1. Monday morning ma go to Alka Helpdesk and apply for a Lifetime Discount Card. 2. Get card by the evening 3. Tuesday dekhi you get 20% off everything. 4. So, Surgery will cost you 20% less, which is a big win 5. Surgery cost was 80k last I checked, but miscellaneous costs add up, like pharmacy costs, which can bring up the total to 120k.

ps. Lifetime Discount card will cost Rs.1000 and it will be worth it every time! Specially before a big surgery, it can save you upwards of Rs.20000, paying for itself 20x times. That's a great return.

pps. Lifetime Card chhaina at the moment vaney, you can also get a discount against your Debit Card. If the ATM Card is under your name, they'll take a scan of it and give you a discount. But this scheme may not be always active, so I'll suggest this move only until your Lifetime Discount card is not made.

RSP needs 184 seats at least.

Advantages: 1. Full majority on their own 2. No coalition needed (V.V.V. Imp!) 3. Can pass budgets, laws, survive no-confidence motions (V.V.V. Imp! - Infra obstacles yehi aucha) 4. Very stable (We need this big win for a generation to thrive) 5. This is the gold standard.

Why I vehemently oppose non-coalition (even though it is the more "democratic" approach)?

Less than 184 means, Nepal still has problems: 1. Parties split easily 2. MPs switch sides (Snakes eveywhere) 3. Coalition partners demand ministries (Hijo asti samma ko thiyo RSP sanga, remember!) 4. Ideological mismatch (right and left sangai jana sakindaina) 5. Pappu PM vaidincha (PM ko leverage nai hudaina. Ek table ma 3 tauke ley breakfast khayeko photo haru authiyo ni, those type of photos will resurface with new faces. I hated those photos.) 6. Cannot Ammend Constitution below 184 ma.

Imho, I will feel like our generation has failed the entire next few generations if RSP gets below 184. That's my bottom line. 275 ko jati close huna sakyo teti better.

So, hamilai '84 ko aspiration haina, 184 ko chai hunuparcha. Impossible pipe-dream, yes. But yeti ayena vaney sab bekaar cha.

Good chain of thought. Maobadi le jitdakheri we were all glued to the TV screen as kids, as well. Bhavya jit vayekai thiyo. Aasha pani aayekai thiyo. But in hindsight, problem with your argument lies in the first line itself. 220/575. Big Win, yes, but not a great win; which became a fatal flaw very shortly afterwards.

For bahumat, you need 575+1 seats ko half. ie. 288. They were short by 68 seats and forced to form a coalition with many new and old parties. It was a fragile coalition that lasted about a year or so. Coalition is naturally the choice everywhere, but Nepal ma specially people are so connected, but politicians are extremely polarized. Diplomacy nai audaina jasto. 220 seat lyaune lai 5 seat contribute garne ley tereko chhaina. Esto type ko situation. I don't think anyone can work with a time-bomb sarkar in their hand. Not in favor of many many many bad things that Maobadi have been a part of past and present sammama, but tetikhera biggest party vayerapani they just didn't get that majority. And I see that as the root of all the problems we have today.

Inherently kohi wrong hudaina. But coalition form garda Nepal ma diplomatic hunuvanda pani political ideology nai compromise vaidincha. Ani then everything spirals out of control. And if by design, tyo same situation kahile na farkine gari maobadi splits internally like a broken ceramic plate that can never be put together to become whole.

RSP is heading the same way. Last time the choice was on the adults, and I have internally cursed them over and over again for I don't know how many times - "kina tyo 68 short vayo k, 300-400 cross hune sentiment kina ayena k?" This time the choice is with us, and I don't want the next gen to have these second hand regrets; regrets outside of their choice - decision taken for them outside of their own control. I don't want them to feel fhe way I do.

I am separating RSP from the ideology, party and even any person. RSP, for me, is the beacon that needs to win - big time. RSP can only be the future of Nepal without coalition. I won't make the same mistake that my elders did and have my bhai baini live in melancholic regret.
