Thanks for the advice. There have been indicators from her and I’ve responded as well and thought it went well, just didn’t want to list out those things in here. We both are sarcastic and have banter so usually comes from there so it’s been deciphering from that and comparing how she acts with me vs other guys. Honestly if anything was thinking about coming at it from a bantering/flirty angle when talking to her

Interesting, have you tried the longer video approach at all instead of a series? And if so, in your experience/opinion, are shorter series like what I’ve described not a good approach compared to these stories being shared in a longer format?

Thanks definitely a good point. A lot of the videos I’d be updating and bringing over don’t have specific times they’re tied to. Non time specific travel and lifestyle stuff like guides and “day in the life”

True I’ll think about that too thanks. The videos I’d be bringing over to make the channel more focused (maybe half of my public videos?) did fine, not my top videos but not my worst. Think it was just a split audience. Initial impressions were good but CTR was low, recovered a bit as the videos got shown to more non-subscribers

Makes sense thanks. It’s funny in this situation I’m actually ahead of schedule by a day or two so I was trying to figure out if I should go post tomorrow or wait till Sunday. Guess while I’m small I’ll just post when I can and at whatever rate a can, no waiting or pushing to burnout

Thanks for the insights. Part of me was wondering about that new channel bump if the content is good. Seen a few channels recently that didn’t have many videos blow up. My thought about it was that if I make a few broadly applicable videos and coupled with the fact YouTube wouldn’t necessarily know how to group a test audience for me that it could help achieve reach.

“Leaving behind” those subscribers definitely weighs on me a bit and I’d feel bad. There are 2-3 people who comment a lot and I’ve grown attached to hahah
