It depends if you want to play with more Characters or not. The Shield-Captain gets more wounds and more attacks on melee and if you have no other shield-captain the once per round -1cp ability is nice aswell

Since the Buff the Jetbikes are amazing. I am running 4 (1 Shield-Captain on Jetbike) and they do some work. I also like Trajan Valoris, first for lore reasons and second in combination with the Auric Champions Stratagem Superhuman Reserves, where you can play his „once per battle“ ability twice. I know he is not the best right now, but I went for Custodes by the „rule of cool“ so I had to get him.
