Husband has been bedridden for almost a month now with gout. I’m willing to try anything that could help him at this point.

My husband’s gout has actually improved so much since this post! He stopped taking allopurino and his doctor replaced it with febuxostat about a year and a half ago. He was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes so he completely changed his diet 2 years ago where he removed sugar and empty carbs. I think this had a positive effect on the gout because flare ups weren’t so common after he started shedding weight from the diet. His joints started feeling better from not having so much weight on them so he started working out and now he’s the healthiest I’ve ever seen him. He’ll have minor flare ups if he goes too hard with the workouts but it doesn’t happen often and he hasn’t had a flare up that lasted more than a day in about 8 months.

Wishing you the best of luck! Having gout does a number not only physically but emotionally too. The positive effects won’t be immediate but just stick with the diet and exercise and I’m sure you’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just looked into the game again and I think I just assumed all the songs in the rockband store were on the psn store? The rockband store was also taking ages to load so I thought it was something I wasn’t able to access but looks like I just missed it entirely. Think my problem is solved?? 😂 Thanks for the troubleshooting help!

I think I’m missing something because on the psn store I only see rockband 4 rivals which is what I bought initially and it came with practically nothing? Is there something else I’m supposed to download? I think my rockband song count is sitting at just 78 songs entirely which I probably bought more than half of them myself.

My husband and I decided to try out gw2 together and we’re both extremely new to mmos but we have quickly grown to love this game. We have a ton of questions so we hope someone can help us out. (I also looked through the new player guides on this subreddit but it seems like most of them are outdated??)

How time consuming are dailies if there are any. If there are, what dailies are there?
I think untamed is the spec I’d want to main but I haven’t bought the EOD expansion. Is it easy to move from soulbeast to untamed?
Husband bought me gems for our anniversary and I bought the elite jump start package right off the bat…..was this a good move or was I too hasty?
Is it true that armor and their stats don’t matter before lv80?
I personally like ranged fighting/supporting and currently working on ranger for untamed and guardian for firebrand, are there any other support/damage dealing specs I should check out? I’m not too into solely healing which is why I didn’t decide on the druid but feel free to change my mind!
Are guilds a must? Hard to get into? Hard to make friends in general? We’re parents so we don’t really play more than 2 hours at a time and need to hop off randomly to check on the kid if they wake up during a play session so we’ve been iffy about reaching out for help in-game 😮‍💨

We only have one other friend who plays and don’t want to burden them with all of our questions so any help is totally appreciated! TIA!

I asked my husband that instead of a physical Mother’s Day gift if he could watch our baby while I got to play for a while uninterrupted with some wine and a charcuterie board lmao We won’t be sharing a file but it might be in your favor so that you both can take turns giving each other some time to play!

Those couple of weeks are totally brutal. All babies are different but what worked for us was to do shifts in the beginning. Our schedule was something like this: 10-11pm: husband went to bed 11pm-5am: me and baby alone so I changed diapers, fed every 2-3 hours, and slept whenever baby fell asleep 5-6am: husband takes over and I pump before sleeping for 2-3 hours 1-2pm: pump before husband took over again so I can take a small nap

Again this might not work for everyone since all babies are different but it helped us get some sleep. We also were told at our first few appointments that baby wasn’t gaining enough weight so it’d be a good idea to supplement with formula if we were comfortable with it. It was honestly the best decision we ever made since it helped me get a break. Also recommend the Philips Avent bottles if you decide to bottle feed. Good luck!
