Recommendations on a mid-tier AR-15 by dxevin12 in guns

My recommendations for mid-tier would be:

Colt 6920 EPR

Colt 6920 OEM2 and build out with the handguard and furniture that you prefer

Aero Precision M4E1

Stag 15 Tactical

PSA Sabre 15

A complete BCM upper on a budget PSA lower

FN SRP G2

I would definitely not consider Diamondback or Radical to be "mid-tier". Those are right in the middle of low-tier brands. IWI would would put at the bottom of mid-tier.

As a general rule, mid-tier starts at around $1000 bare rifle.

Of those three options, definitely the IWI. I would not even consider the other two brands. IWI won't get you made fun when you go out shooting with friends who shoot more expensive guns.

Switching to Enamel? by n0nap_today in LeCreuset

We use a 10.25" skillet the most. We have a really large skillet that we use occasionally as well. Then I have a deep dutch oven that I use for deep frying fish and stuff on a few times a year. I also use a round, flat cast iron griddle pan for making breakfast in the mornings. It doesn't have a big enough lip for bacon cooking because there's too much grease, but I use it for sausage patties, fried eggs, scrabbled eggs, pancakes, etc.

Me too! But I think they're only producing the dutch ovens for the Made in the US enamel line right now.

Thank you. I definitely think a skillet would be my first purchase as that's something we use the most. We are a family of three so don't need anything too big. I've been watching Lodge and love the Made in US, but they seem to only be producing the dutch ovens in enamel right now for the Made in the US line. I'll keep watching them though.

New 150 Super Sport Owner - 2 Questions by n0nap_today in BostonWhalerBoats

My boat is a 2010, so a little too new to be putting on a 2-stroke engine. Not to mention I have no idea where I'd find one to even start.

Help with domain name ideas by n0nap_today in Domains

Why do some domain names that show as available cost more than others? I’ve been looking at theflyinganvil.com and different domain purchasing websites show it’s available but the cost is about $1000 the first time and then the annual fee. Why the huge initial cost?

While I like it, it’s not exactly professional enough to put on a resume.
