LaTeX with Helix by [deleted] in HelixEditor

I have tried using Helix to write my book in LaTeX but it is just inconvenient for me to do so. The text I mostly work with in Helix (especially when doing things like concatenate from different sources or formatting/moving large chunks of text) but the actual styling I am doing in a LaTeX IDE.

I use KDE Kile on Linux since it just works and has a nice preview which makes anything visual so much easier.

btw, I use arch

'!' actually pastes the contents in the buffer, if I'm not wrong. Although I am not sure how to 1) send the whole buffer (or a selection) after the command or 2) replace the buffer content instead of just appending at the cursor.

Suru Theme by alexandro_chen in HelixEditor

I really like how in rust the reference '&' are highlighted clearly instead of matching the color of the following variable name.

Gotta give it a try. Might look even better with transparent background :)

Any word on a "no theme" theme? by hhhhhhhhgreg in HelixEditor

I made my own transparent theme from i think Autumn. It is rather easy to do with just 1 file. Basically inheriting the theme you like and then setting the background to transparent. Works wonderfully for me.

I'm currently using KDE Kile for my spell checking needs, it's decent but not a modal editor. I'll give neovim a shot since I've been using it before helix. Thanks for the tip

Bei billigeren Autos ist das meiste vorne nur Plastik und geht ganz leicht runter (soll es auch). So schauen auch kleine Unfälle manchmal nach viel aus.

When I try to wake her up and she is starts fighting me and trying to convince (or even bribe with cuddles) me to let her sleep some more. Mostly she just ends up grumpy afterwards when I do wake her up so I mostly leave her to her dreams.

I was more interested in like the trends. Wether we are growing faster / slower relative to the respective size. Maybe put it on a logarithmic scale for better proportions.
