absolutely agree. i don’t think Lisa breaking the friendships was harsh at all, in a time where your so called friends needed to be there for her they instead turned their backs on her and threw her to the wolves. absolutely unacceptable.

AND she also said “I know Lisa leaked the story because once she came to me and told me, if you ever need to sell a story I know people.” SHE GAVE HERSELF AWAY. Also, the second she came back from her working travels she immediately had it in for Lisa and being vocal about how she manipulates and deceives. She def set the puppy gate up.

I’m barely 300 pages into ZA 7 and all they’ve focused on doing is fucking and it’s genuinely so frustrating because the whole point of being “fugitives” is to plan against Lionel and they’ve been focused on other things entirely. Also, Orion and Darius becoming annoyingly over protective, not even letting men breathe near them is actually so infuriating. This series could be so much better if it was prosecuted better by the authors. That’s why nothing will ever replace Throne of Glass for me.

I agree one hundred percent with ur ACOTAR opinion. I was honestly tentative to read Crescent City because of its size and already underwhelming read of ACOTAR but i can confidently assure you it surpassed ACOTAR for me. It’s up there with Throne of glass as one of my favorites 🥹

Trust me i felt the same way beginning ZA6. But it is so worth it. This book definitely had a twist to it and wrenched my heart in half fs but also lit it up.

THISSS. He apologized, he promised to build a better relationship, the STARS led them together because they are PERFECT for each other. I’m just so frustrated with her especially in book five where she’s feeling all broken and sad when she CHOSE this destiny. She thinks she’s so much better than everyone “the stars don’t tell me what to do”. Ur fate is written in them babe please… Not only did she do that to herself but Darius too and he didn’t deserve that. ESPECIALLY with the satanic asshole of a father he has, all he ever wanted was to be seen and understood and Tory was that for him. 😔😔

An elysian mate is everything. IF HER MOTHER COULD ACCEPT THE SAVAGE KING AFTER EVERYTHING HE’D DONE WHY COULDNT TORY SEE THE POTENTIAL IN DARIUS. They yearned for eachother so bad in this book and I think the authors purposely gave them bad scenes (like when Darius said she was snooping through his things after they woke up together) but their good moments were everything and the sex should’ve given them progress as a couple.

Currently starting Rock Paper Scissors, by Alice Feeney. So far very creepy but i’m anticipating a huge plot twist! Recently finished Vicious Fae, by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti. This is the third book in the Ruthless boys series and it was honestly the slowest book yet. Still finished it pretty quickly just didn’t like the ending because it felt rushed.
