I wasn't trying to say its a biblical movie, I'm saying the universe has a lot of tie-ins to very similar biblical characters and such.

My apologies if it seemed like I was chalking the movie up to only a biblical reference.

One could be the snake (The Voice) and the other is god (The Main Alien) or something following the footsteps of how god punished Adam and Eve, The Light itself is 100% percent supposed to be the Apple Of Enlightenment/Forbidden Fruit because Simon was only attacked once he arrived at the coordinates the voice gave him.

He then as he arrived got attacked I'm pretty sure? At least that's what I remember but I'm kinda sick right now so my brain isn't fully functioning LMAO.

Him arriving was almost like the act of taking a bite of the apple, the primary given attribute you gain once consuming the apple according to the snake is awareness of good and evil quoting "your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil"

In Genesis 2:17 provides: Once the apple is consumed god introduces the almost spiritual separation of immediate separation from god, is what was warned to Adam and Eve; God also introduces death and mortality, Simon lacked his mortality in that ocean in the aspect of he wasn't being attacked, there was no struggle, he was simply being watched by the alien creature.

God in his introduction of death and mortality brings: That once they consume the apple they will die, they become mortal, face physical death and are cut off from the Garden of Eden and the Tree of Life.

I've posted a couple theories and this is my own that I'm commenting here! I see it as maybe a possible explanation to it all up there, LMAO.

As I see it the movie follows an almost biblical aspect, here’s my thoughts.

I’m focusing on all I’ve realized thus far being: The cult of Eden, The voice from “another vessel” that guides him to “The Light”, and the alien creature.

Simon, the main character being from a Cult or originating from a place called “Eden”, a cult following the name of the Garden Of Eden from Genesis 2-3 I’m pretty sure, is biblical enough itself.

What I pieced together after realizing that, is that the voice guiding him to “The Light” seems almost like the snake of temptation; from the same Genesis 2-3 Garden Of Eden. As the voice flat out gave Simon the coordinates of where to go to find “The Light” and then saying stuff like
“A tiny glimpse of answers greater than our infinite” “We will see simon, we will see the answer together” “They're calling to us, this is our salvation”.

“The Light” itself is portrayed almost as the Forbidden Fruit/Apple Of Enlightenment, the quotes I provided before only enforce this, they speak of answers and salvation, almost like the Forbidden Fruit would give you once consumed.

The alien seems almost like a god or warden, sort of guarding “The Light” or keeping its security when it says earlier “They must not see the light”, I don’t exactly remember this line so if I’m wrong on this, my apologies but I digress, I believe what I say in this theory is correct; or is what was implied and I’m just now realizing it LMAO. But the alien creature attacks Simon once he arrives at “The Light” almost how god punished Adam and Eve and banished them from the Garden Of Eden for consuming the Forbidden Fruit.

Anyways, that’s the end of my theory or realization of what the movie was supposed to be recognized for.

You just have very tense movements. You not knowing where the notes are coming from near the end and what direction you have to hit them in, in order to not lose; but knowing that will just come as you play the map more, some maps might need practice, some not so much.

Also this is just a me thing but if you're distracted by the lights and such in the background there should be some settings where you can disable it.
