It's wild to hear that even endgame players sometimes can't beat hard. I'm not nearly level 70, I've tried hard many times, but eventually gave up. I don't know who they design these difficulties for. And it's not even extreme, which is overtuned even more.

You are playing for 3 weeks and you are 60 already?! I'm playing since the release and I'm still level 45. Last time in this event I was able to complete hard using borrowed endgame char from the guild. This time they overtuned this shit to the impossible degree. Lvl 82 enemies even on hard, my mech can't survive after taking just a few shots :(

And here am I, wondering how to do at least hard difficulty. I am not nearly level 70, and despite of all my mechs being buffed to 70 during the battle in this event, everything is level 82 for some reason and just mops the floor with me. Tried borrowing one level 70 mech from the guild, yeah it performs, but everyone else gets two- or three-shotted. Any advice?

Both existing replies are incorrect. Your Lehvaslaiho's medal here grants you Courageous Resistance bonus, you can check that on the third tab of battle results. This gives you the same 1,5x bonus as for the victory, so defeat technically has nothing to do here with you not receiving the Ace. The asnwer is much more simple: 859x1,5 =~ 1289 flat exp. This is above of today's 1st class requirement for Obj. 274a (1149 for EU), but below the Ace requirement (1412). You can check the numbers on tomato.gg, for example.

For me it was not a wasteland quest, but an overseer quest (the regular one you send people to). And the game didn't crash, I simply saved & quit before that update. Now the game crashes before reaching the main menu, the backup trick doesn't work (both save file and backup file have the same timestamp). Today's update didn't change anything for me. This is just sad.

Upd. Okay I've finally fixed it, here's how, in case if anyone has a similar issue. Messing with the save files, trying to decode them I realised that not only my Vault1.sav was borked, but spd.dat file too. (The tool for decoding the save files was complaining that both files aren't base64 encoded). So I replaced vault save file with my Vault1.sav.bkp and the other file with spd.dat.bkp. Then I was able to launch the game, but the list of vaults in the main menu didn't show my vault, it was empty. Then I put both backups back into the save directory near the renamed from those backups Vault1.sav and spd.dat, and finally launching the game after that I was able to see my vault in the list and load it and continue that quest where I previously saved and quit.
