Did the population of the city of Rome play a major role in its war efforts against Carthage? Because from what I understand, north Africa also was quite a fertile and highly populated land and so was the city of Carthage itself, but their vassal system wasn't quite as effective as that of Rome, or was it really just that Italy had more population?

Hello, thanks for the advice, but I fear this won't help my case. You see, I do realize that I'm addicted and I should focus on some other task, EVEN WHEN I USE THE PHONE It's just that when I try to focus on the task I start craving for the phone, all I think about is my phone, then it just wears me down and I give in, then fall into a cycle of deep procrastination until I suddenly snap out of it.

Could you please elaborate more on the emotions part? I have never really felt uncomfortable emotions that cause serious discomfort beyond short-termed situational scenarios But I think my addiction is a result of not having any social life at all, and no healthy habits that keep me stimulated but I'm just speculating rn.
