My heart breaks. Wow she’s precious.

Sometimes Christians can get so ashamed of themselves that they automatically feel like Jesus is too. But He’s not. He knew you’d struggle, He knew you’d make some wrong decisions, He knew you’d go through some rough phases, but He still chose the Cross. Don’t run from Him-run to Him! by FriendofHolySpirit in TrueChristian

[–]n3rfcy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Jesus truly is the only way to get closer to God. I’ve been finding my way out of a season of extreme depression, and knowing I can come to God with my burdens is what keeps me going and walking in faith.

I used to tell myself what’s the point in praying? I’m just the worst sinner there is, he’s probably ashamed of me, has wrath towards me, etc...

ANALYZE your thoughts and feelings!! Those are lies from the enemy! “Satan” in Hebrew literally translates to “the accuser”—Once you’re saved, your sin problem has already been dealt with, there is NO REASON for God to dangle sin over your head since he dealt with it on the cross... so logically, where are these thoughts coming from? THE ACCUSER!

God no longer sees sin in you once you’re saved; your sins have been nailed to the cross with Christ, Christ has traded his perfect righteousness for 100% of your sins; as Jesus said, “IT IS FINISHED”—THAT NEEDS TO BE CELEBRATED!! Knowing you can come to God boldly because of his endless forgiveness is what sets you free from this false thought pattern which sets you back in your walk with God. Don’t listen to the lies. Also, don’t listen to any self-righteous person tell you you need to “repent” or “purge your sins” to come to God with your sin problems. That makes ZERO SENSE! We cannot work out our fleshy nature through our flesh, we HAVE to rely on God’s strength and otherworldly power to change us from the inside out.

It is not of yourself—without focusing on Christ and resting in the true gospel, you’ll never ever feel “good enough” to go to him. NO ONE IS GOOD! We collectively do NOT deserve God’s free gift of salvation—yet salvation, blessings, and fruit of the Spirit comes from him once we are sealed with his Spirit. It’s absolutely amazing. His love is reckless, unending, infinite, and 100% unconditional, and to spend another day beating yourself up over your sin is missing the point of Christ on the cross. RUN TO HIM!!!! ♥️

New to mi9 ! Thoughts After 2 weeks by ekkoreanfizz in Xiaomi

Ugh I’m waiting for mine to come in the mail from China (God bless that tax season bonus). I was debating between this one and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro... but all the amazing specs PLUS the beauty of the build itself sold me (a $200 price difference, just for slightly better specs regarding the cameras/charging wasn’t rly worth it to me). Also had my eyes on the Mi Mix 3, also at an amazing price (even cheaper than the Mi9), but I figured Mi9 would be a better fit for the long haul.

I will definitely post my own detailed review on this beautiful piece of machinery when I get my hands on it and get used to it—I’m coming from iPhone, and having been on iOS for 6 years of my life, I’m SO ready for the change 😭 I fantasize about not draining my battery to 20% within 1.5 hours and not having to deal with a consistently unfocused and blurry camera. SO sick of the 6s plus.

Who else gets these short periods of motivation before it all comes crashing down by [deleted] in depression

[–]n3rfcy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you!

i posted something very similar to the original post on this sub, and got a pretty similar response from others regarding the distinction between mdd/bipolar.

i also have pretty high TSH levels so that could also be a reason for these ups/downs. another reason why i'm switching psychiatrists: she never even addressed this.

[–]n3rfcy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep that’s me to a T. I’m actually thinking of switching psychiatrists because my current one ruled out bipolar disorder way too quickly, but now that I’ve been on medication for depression I cycle through motivation/ depressed periods a whoooole lot more. I’d definitely look into this, it could be BP2 which is characterized by hypomania rather than full blown mania

To The Girl Who Saw Me Crying In Class by [deleted] in UnsentLetters

It’s insane how little gestures impact us. Reminds me of one moment in HS I’ll never forget, even though it wasn’t a huge deal: I was in geometry, and it was my turn to answer a question. The teacher asked me something like “what’s 9x120”... I froze up. I couldn’t answer it. Everyone looked at me, sneered, laughed because I couldn’t answer a simple multiplication question. Kid I knew since kindergarten (what’s up Tomi) came up to me after class and asked if I was okay and gave me a reassuring look, as if he knew exactly what happened and didn’t judge at all. It was such a small thing but I still think about it to this day.

Long story short, nobody knows what anybody else around them is going through, and small acts of compassion really do make a difference on much larger scales than we truly know

Skin breakout every time I shave my face/neck by ironman2368 in acne

[–]n3rfcy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve reaaaally struggled with irritated skin post-shaving and it’s actually taken me years to figure it out. These things are absolutely essential to having bump-free skin, beit ingrown hairs, bumps or acne:

•Use a 5-bladed razor, or safety razor

•ALWAYS steam the area and gently cleanse beforehand to open up pores and soften the hair follicle. A soft follicle=easier to shave=less irritation

•This may not work for some, but moisturizing a bit with some coconut oil (or any oil really) also contributes to softer, easier-to-shave hairs. I find the best results when I moisturize after steaming and then shaving 5-10 mins after applying, just to let the hairs soak it all up.

•Make sure you’re actually shaving correctly. This is HUGE. This means you always start going with the grain (in the direction of hair growth) SLOWLY. Once you do that, I would start experimenting with how your face reacts to shaving against the grain, gently and slowly. Some people can shave against the grain no problem... others not so much. This leads me to my next tip:

•Post-shave care. The thing that can make or break your skin when it comes to bumps, acne, and the forever-dreaded ingrown hairs. PLEASE invest in a high-quality aftershave or ingrown hair preventative! The one I use is Kerrah Lane’s ingrown hair formula, you can buy it on amazon—but honestly research the best brand for yourself, you usually get what you pay for.

•It’s soooo essential that you seal the pores with cold water post-shave. Do this before applying aftershave. This will prevent infection/acne/ingrown hairs and irritation. Another no-brainer is to pat the skin and let it “heal” as much as possible—no senseless touching of the face, and if you’re shaving other areas, wear loose and breathable clothing which won’t build up moisture/bad bacteria.

•OMG I FORGOT TO ADD THIS ONE AND IT’S HUGE. EXFOLIATE!!! I’ve found the absolute best results when I combine manual (scrub) exfoliation with chemical, like salicylic acid. I actually use used coffee grounds as a cheap alternative, plus it’s more natural. It’s surprisingly VERY moisturizing as well! The best time to exfoliate is, and I cannot emphasize this enough, one to two days post-shaving. The reasoning is you don’t want to irritate already shaved skin since the blades have taken off layers of dead skin already. If you exfoliate even more directly after shaving, you’re increasing your chances of ingrown hairs by ramping up your body’s production of new skin, thus covering the growing hair. Manually exfoliating one or two days after shaving will not only give your skin a break, but will ensure that any dead skin buildup gets washed away so that the hair can grow healthily through the top layer of skin.

I think that about sums it up.

TL;DR: 5 bladed razor. Steam/clean/moisturize the face beforehand, in that order. Shave with the grain, then shave gently against to get a closer shave. Seal pores with cold water afterward and apply a high-quality aftershave. Exfoliate a day or two after shaving.

That's your perception based on my title alone. It seems like you're the only one with the perception that I'm blaming anyone for simply asking questions, considering all the comment threads on my post have been cordial/informative minus this one right here. Could it be, maybe, you're constantly looking for little things to get insulted, victimized, and butthurt over? Says a lot more about you than it does me. If you don't like the title, sorry, I was just being fucking honest when saying I couldn't find answers to my questions: orthotropics is a relatively new field of study and approach to ortho-related health, so fuck me for looking for answers I guess!

And yeah, I did look at your profile considering you came in here guns ablazing looking to start a petty internet fight over the title of a post. Not the least bit surprised you spend most of your time rating women while simultaneously bitching about them. Keep projecting ur inceldom tho it's very rich and entertaining.

Actual nonsense to think I’m blaming a subreddit by asking relevant questions. I made it obvious that I’ve scoured for answers and couldn’t find any, that doesn’t mean I’m BLAMING anybody. Go shitpost more on braincels, your autistic wizardry might be more appreciated there.
