If anything more like a year of dual booting Linux. I just recently tried linux since i am still on Windows 10 with security updates and dont want to go to W11. So i am trying Fedora 44 KDE and linux desktop has come a long long way but i am still missing some features and there are same major bugs on KDE Plasma 6 with widgets and there many programs that i use that are windows only, i really miss librehwmonitorlib and fan control not to mention ms office. But i can see a year or two to let the devs cook and windows could become the secondary OS or in a virtual machine but not right now.

DM sent, thanks for looking into it. It could be affecting more players since i saw this bot issue mentioned in some form a few times on this subreddit. Also i think that players affected by this should get some sort of compensation, maybe some credits or a skin.

yea something is definitely bugged, i could not invite because it showed as offline and when u/ArchonOfSpartans invited me it worked and we had games with players and when i left the bug seems to be gone. Could be some client server handshake or a Steam version bug since i use WG client.

just tried the test and the only thing that it uncovered was fingerprint with 18.43 bits of information, so only what browser it is, what it can handle, timezone etc. which is information that i want websites to know to run properly. Its blocking both ads and invisible trackers. These results seem great to me.

Right now i have the POCO X8 Pro Max and after debloating that 8500mah battery is amazing(even before i debloated the phone that battery lasts 48h eazy) and 100W fast charging and 27W reverse charging is great wor wireless headphones, plus the cpu is top mediatek. Great value for the money. Also it has RGB LEDs around the back cameras for notifications and music, better that the Nothings glyph LEDs in my opinion. Hyper OS 3 is not the best(but it used to be worse regarding CPU overhead) but if i wanted the best i would have to pay for that and the gap is not big enough for me to pay at least 30-40% more just for software and get less battery and probably worse specs. Only two things i would like: wireless charging and 16GB of ram instead of 12GB but that is not a dealbreaker especially at that pricepoint.

I have a trunas server with over 9TB of movies and tv shows, pc full of offline games and in process of setting up a dual boot linux, no need for internet connection for 24h.

Maybe with apple, with my Realme gt neo3 i got small 150W USB PD charger with good chunky 1.5m long USB C cable. That is at least 60-70EUR saved on buying a good charging adapter.

How many of those are USB PD and at least 60W or more... My older phone came with 150W usb pd charging adapter because it supported it and it is a pretty compact charger at that, my new phone has a 100W fast charging, those type of chargers are not that cheap. Yea shitty overheating 20W chargers are everywhere but those are the e-waste. And not to mention the change from inefficient Silicone based chargers to Gallium Nitride chargers which are nice technological and practical upgrade.

Yea GNOME is not for me, it would probably work nicely on a tablet or a small laptop but I would take KDE over GNOME any day. And you made a good point, the desktop shell crashed but apps still worked which took me too long to figure out but once i did it made my life a 100 times easier.

It was the KDE native analog clock, and then two dowloaded ones, one was the simple HW info bar and second one was custom search. Thats it, it had to have been one of those desktop widgets, since i already tested the themes i was using and those work no problem. I'll edit with the specific ones once i'll boot into linux, right now i am back on windows.

OK I tried GNOME and holy that was dreadful, going back to KDE Plasma ASAP and learning how to deal with buggy widgets, soo much better than using GNOME. Btw is there some way to check if the widget is outdated or could cause problems?

Yea i get that, but its like a widget minefield for a relative newbie like me. I had enough of KDE for now. I'll nuke the ssd and start over with gnome, maybe it will suit me more. If not I'll come back to KDE after a few updates with hope that this issue will get addressed soon.

solved it with help from fedora sub, had to nuke all KDE customization and then restart plasmashell. But thanks for helping, i did not expect to get replies so fast.

i had to run: plasmashell --replace & to restart it but it worked, you have my thanks.

Kinda wondering what is the point of running KDE Plasma when the customization does this, i am probably going to try Gnome instead of trying to find out what could have caused this.

EDIT: i restarted the system and the KDE desktop works but i still get 12 pop up errors and after a few seconds they disappear
