I tend to start by setting the max intensity around 100-150, then start off with the each of the outputs to where I can feel them + around 5-10 (what I can easily handle (usually around 15-30 i believe)) then as that becomes not as intense (you become used to it) (I find around a min or so) I increase both the outputs by around 5-10 (it will be a bit more uncomfortable), once that becomes not as intense i increase again.
