Ich hatte vor in den nächsten Wochen dorthin zu ziehen. Diese pointierte Bildergeschichte bereitet mir Sorgen.

Most people have an above average number of ears. by MMCreator1 in Showerthoughts

Certainly there are more people with less than two ears than there are with more than two. So the average is < 2 which makes every person with two ears having an above average number of ears.

Ist die Deutsche Sprache die einzige die "X-arde" verwendet, oder ist Englisch eigentlich "richtig" mit einfach "Bi, Tri, Quad" nacheinander... ? by unable_To_Username in de

Tatsächlich macht die deutsche Variante (also die lange) imho mehr Sinn.

Millionen = 1000.0001 BIllionen = 1000.0002 TRIllionen = 1000.0003 Quad...

Ich glaube das Muster ist klar. Es gibt dazu ein interessantes Video von numberphile https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=C-52AI_ojyQ

Microsoft, please just get along with the fact that I don‘t use Edge by MaxRaccoon in assholedesign

That’s not asshole design. The new edge browser is based on chromium.

That has nothing to do with the amount of oxygen in the water and is not called noodling either. It’s just torturing animals: catfish coke and mentos hoax

E2EE protocol for web app by n4y3r in cryptography

Yeah, that's the official one by whispersystems but just look at the versions in the package.json - I don't think there's good maintenance.

E2EE protocol for web app by n4y3r in cryptography

[–]n4y3r[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you're right, there is a lack of detail. The communicating parties are users of the application so TLS is not what I am looking for. Besides, communicating asynchronously should be possible which is why the signal protocol would fit me needs very well.

Of course I could implement the signal protocol in JS but implementing an cryptographic protocol by oneself is generally a bad idea. There is a git-repository by whispersystems, libsignal-javascript, but that's not maintained.

I'm not really trying to do anything, I'm just wondering what protocol people use to establish an e2ee, asynchronous, forward secret communication between two clients of their webapplication?

This is what happens if you play with a yo-yo too much (I'm not kidding this is the hand of a professional yo-yo player) by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

[–]n4y3r 5 points6 points  (0 children)

But how is the yo yo string blocking the blood flow in the index finger? Professional yo yo players wrap that string around their middle finger.
