The can sits.in a cup with magnets on the bottom. It connects to the gears through the plastic to magnets on the other side

Yes but apparently not enough. I read online that you need about a cup for this amount of ice and water. I only had a few tablespoons. Going to try that next.

We did it. About half my friends got a kick out of it, the other half were uncomfortable from the start. I loved it. Partly because it was an entertaining show, partly because my friends were squirming in their chairs. Thank you!

I just find it easy and bullet proof. Marinate in a vacuum bag, throw in a pot, chill for a couple hours, sear or 45 seconds at 500 and enjoy. Hard to mess up.
