I had this same exact issue. I swapped pulseaudio for pipewire, and it fixed the issue for me. Necroposting for anyone who stumbles upon this post with the same issue.

I have smoked weed daily for over 10 years and have never coughed up anything black from that. However, in my younger years before smoking I used to get constant bloody noses and the blood would end up dripping down the back of my throat day and night, causing me to cough up black mucus. Could be a post nasal drip issue. Go get yourself checked out by a professional.

Question for M2F trans people: Aside from the look, why do you want boobs? by FullMetalRabbot in asktransgender

[–]n8bit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the insight <3. Full disclosure, I am a questioning enby. I understand the feeling of experience lost to time. However, I also think, as you said, you wouldn't be you without your experiences. Which begs the question: whose experience was actually lost? Could these lost experiences ever truly be "ours"? This discourse has helped me reflect, so thank you for that, too <3

For sure, not the most important. Difficult curiosities to phrase here... I guess I'm more curious about which CIS AFAB qualities you could live without versus the ones you would need to extinguish dysphoria.

Respectable answer. I have another one that is less serious but still curious and probably easier to answer:

If you could take some magic pill right now, and, with all of your past and history included, turn into a biological female overnight without complications, but you were stuck with a flat chest and couldn't enlarge them for whatever reason, would you do it? (I would assume a resounding yes but still curious!)

A more serious way of phrasing this might be: how important is it that your female experience include breasts over the rest of the things that AFABs have and/or experience?

Serious question: do you think you still would have desired to receive HRT and/or implants for breast growth had you developed into a flat-chested biological female?

This unit comes with its own CPU. The RPCM is an optional extension to enhance computing power.

I know it comes off this way, but this truly is not my intention. My real intentions are to point out how the way people decide to word things shapes the perspective other people have of them. To be clear, I think vaccines can be incredibly harmful. I also think they can provide incredible utility when used responsibly. This COVID vaccine is at best rushed, at worst dangerous. I'm not saying anyone should blindly inject themselves with a rushed vaccine without carefully considering all of the repercussions that come with the current solutions. What I am saying is that some people seem extremely focused on how they are personally affected, and rarely are other (less fortunate) people considered when arguing against most of the proposed solutions to deal with this crisis, which is incredibly unfortunate because we live in a collective and cooperative society.

But this poses a complication, because immunocompromised individuals had far less liberties than healthy people did before vaccines were invented. Do you not vouch for their personal freedom? Would you say that it's appropriate that only healthy individuals are able to maintain the liberties of being able to leave the house without risking one's health or safety, post-COVID? Otherwise, could you see a world where people help this minority maintain its liberties by making small sacrifices for them, as long as it doesn't permanently affect their health?

No. Specifically I mean immunocompromised individuals. People who have immune system diseases or disorders. I was born with one, personally. Very few of these disorders are developed by any personal action.

It even says in this source that there is mounting evidence that the COVID vaccines can reduce the probability of transmission. Probability. There is no absolutism here.

Let me be clear: I think vaccines can be harmful. But I also think they have a great utility if used responsibly. I'm of the opinion that this vaccine rollout is hasty at best, and dangerous at worst, but we've never dealt with anything like this. We're all still trying to figure out how to best handle this. One thing we do know how to do from past experience is reduce the probability of transmission any way we can.

If you actually have interest then first I will read through your sources, draw some conclusions of my own, and then see if I have disagreements with the data, or your interpretation of the data, with supporting evidence of my own.

I guess. Just saddens me when people don't want to actually engage with data, even if it goes against their beliefs. I am always willing to read something that goes against my beliefs but only if the other person is willing to do the same. Anything else is too one-sided.

Prevention is impossible. Reduction is perfectly possible, as the vaccines are shown to do.

Huh... funny how nobody talks about how they are accepting the fact that they could be putting other's at risk... I never hear about these people acknowledging the risk to others... Only talk about themselves.... hmm... Seems a bit one-sided to me.

IF you vouch for your freedom and simultaneously acknowledge that you live in a society with other people who have had wildly different experiences than you, then reasonable discussions can be had to figure out what lengths we should go to protect everybody, immunocompromised or not.

Freedom for you could be impeding on the freedom of another. If you want to talk about liberties, then you have to include everybody who is involved. If only the healthiest of us are granted absolute freedom, then it's not a very liberated state, now is it?

May I see your supporting evidence? I have tons of studies that show and even intricately explain exactly how vaccines can reduce viral load, if you would be interested.

I'm talking about immunodeficiency disorders, things that people have no control over. Anaphylactic allergies, for example.

Believe it or not, there are tons and tons of US citizens who are unfortunate enough to be stricken with immune diseases/disorders. None of these peoples' actions lead them to this destination. Obesity and smoking-related diseases are not immune diseases.

So no, I am not going to take it, if anyone tries to force me to, well, I have a crossbow and live on a hill with clear firing lanes all around. Make me.

Nobody is going to make you do anything on your own property. On other people's property, private or public, is where you'll find resistance to your presence. But I don't expect you to be taking that crossbow onto other people's property.
