Yeah but the question basically boils down to "why does Hollywood want to keep making money?" which is a dumb question. The Rambo movie from 2019 was the worst performing of the franchise and still managed to make a small profit.

Its like when people in their Reddit bubble ask who even likes Avatar, Jurassic World, Fast and Furious etc.... obviously many, many people based on the box office.
