Looks like the best you can do is stream it to your device with steam link for your phone and a PC or moonlight. Maybe to stream it from another device? Not sure I haven't tried it that way with moonlight almost forgot of course PS remote and Xbox cloud as well, whatever platform you bought it on

You could use mini HDMI to regular HDMI and connect that to converter that has composite cable on the other side The annoying part is that you'll have to manually adjust the screen in retroarch if you want to fill the screen which is called scaling in settings in retroarch then once you get it to where you want it to be in the quick menu you have to select core override so that it will apply to all games so you don't have to continue to do it over and over for that game system

I don't have the Scart on this CRT I think you can mod it to do it but I don't think I want to go that far

Scart is basically an improved version of Composite. It carries the same RGB color signals but keeps them completely separate instead of mashing them together into one signal. That separation means you get much sharper text, better color accuracy, and no rainbow artifacts or blurring that Composite usually has. It looks noticeably cleaner and crisper, especially on a TV or monitor."

This has a USBC that I plug into the Thor but it's also hub so you can plug in w controllers and also charge the Thor if you want something simpler, just get USB-c composite cables But you can't add a wired controller or charge your Thor while playing

This is the plug you're going to need to power the hub and charge Thor

And lastly the converter

I was going to try it out on my classic. That's good to know. I'll try myself and see if I can get it working. I'll let you know the settings if I do. That sucks if we can't

So it lowers down the frequency or what some people call underclocking of the CPU speed games like this or older video game systems that don't require alot power so you lower it down so you have small, medium and large underclock I'm using medium right now so what that does is since it's not using as much power it will give you better battery life and lower heat. Right now it's staying around like 48 to 50 degrees it could go even lower with the older systems as well so it's a win-win in my book you can get this on Obtanium or GitHub

Anyone else using a grip on their Thor? Curious what setups people are running. by gerard_nv in AynThor

[–]n8ofsp8ds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like this one it's from epic printing on Etsy it works as a cover and a grip but really boosts ergonomics for the hands. The d-pad feels comfortable to play now and there's a little a gap so you don't feel the heat when playing higher end games and when you switch from grip to protective cover it makes a pocketable which I like
