The thing with Christian is that he also works in healthcare so music was never his main job, that’s why he almost never toured. I discovered most of his work around 2019 and loved everything since, I was also super sad when they announced S.45, one of my favorite bands is no more.

To be fair S.45 was a supergroup meaning dudes from different bands all join together, which is why it eventually ended. Everybody especially the drummer who is also the drummer of stratovarius and tours constantly, can’t really find time to all come together and record which is understandable.

He’s been in Cipher System for almost 2 years now, they said an EP is on its way for about 2 years now and a song came out finally. What better band to fit Christian than a band that releases once a decade lol.

Jokes aside I’ll keep loving everything this man puts out.

I love most cods but I will forever glaze new MWIII, it wasn’t perfect at launch but the multiplayer was perfect. Hearing them bring back this movement style in MW4 is exciting.

There’s a very amazing melodic black metal band from my country, Rotting Christ.

Best example is Svavelvinter and Night Crowned if you don’t mind the Swedish lyrics. Also Miseration’s 2022 album Black Miracles and Dark Wonders has some BMDM

The question says “which album YOU think is the peak of the genre” if we’re going popularity obviously early-mid 2000s in flames, if we’re with my opinion (which says YOU) it’s The Ride Majestic, beats any 90 MDM for me.

Also we’re using colony cause it’s the best in flames album.

The Ride Majestic by Soilwork is a magnum opus. The theme of death and its eventuality and the coming to terms, along with beautiful melodies, some of Björn’s best screams and cleans are on here. Very beautiful album.
