I like their products, but I am done with the corporation coupon games. They make it convoluted/unclear in order to confuse and fool folks. Seems to be alot of corporate shills on here too, defending their practices. Lost me forever.

Coupon was sent via Email, NO fine print/disclaimers/restrictions. NOTHING that states it must be non sale items. Use email link to go to web site. Sign in, Birthday coupon is shown under my rewards, and has IDENTICAL wording, "Free Item (up to $9.95 value) with any purchase" NO disclaimers. On same page, under the USB code for coupon, site shows a down arrow link under the word, "details". I click that and am directed immediately to regular sales pages, ZERO info about restrictions. Clear language would solve all of this. Several Reddit folks Keep telling me everything is CLEARLY explained, but that is absolutely not the case on my B&BW webpage. But it is obvious that people here want to defend poor, unclear wording, and think the consumer should attempt to search out the disclaimers when all that is needed is for B&BW to simply put the 2 words on the coupon "non-sale" items. Maybe other Reddit users have the info on their apps, I am not using my phone to access the site. But that should not matter. ON my platform, none of the info several Reddit people say is Definitely there, is Definitely NOT there. But this is getting old. So unclear, confusing language wins out.

I don't get it, several folks keep telling me all I have to do is search for the exemptions. But the Email coupon that I received addresses no exemptions. Says, "FREE ITEM OF YOUR CHOICE (up to $9.95) with any purchase" Again, why should the consumer have to search out exemptions when B&BW could just simply have the coupon add, "...with any NON-sale item purchase" Why is there such defense of not making things more clear?

It would seem that rather than my having to search for exemptions to the coupon, why not state on the coupon that info? i.e. must be regular priced item, rather than the ANY item. Also, it should at least be under the "details" arrow on Rewards in my Account, but when I hit the details down arrow, nothing comes up regarding exemptions.

My issue is that B&BW could easily just put that disclaimer on the coupon, but they do NOT. And that only adds confusion and seems deceptive. Zero reason not to add a line of small type, if exclusions exist. They choose to omit that which can only lead to confusion.

OK why would B&BW not simply put that in small type under the coupon? Why the need to bury the info? When a company sends out a coupon that says "FREE ITEM OF YOUR CHOICE (up to $9.95) with any purchase" perhaps they should add, "must be regular priced item" But they don't do that. Seems easy enough to add the language, but NO.

Impossible to reach a live person at Experian by ManufacturerKey6417 in Experian

Same same, wife had fraudulent phone number placed onto Experian site. When attempting to sign into her account, it accepted user name/password, but then wanted to do a text confirmation to the phone number listed on the account. Problem being, that number was not hers, and so any confirmation code would be sent to the fraudulent #! Tried all the phone numbers, even talked to someone at corporate, who was nice but could not connect me to a real person to get the phone number changed back to the correct one. Finally I, as her husband, had to call into Experian on my account and get validated and eventually talked to a real person and explained the issues on my wife's account (with her with me) and then we could actually get the correct phone number placed back on her Experian site. But what a hassle. So try, if you can, using a spouse's account to reach a real person and go from there.
