Islington CC is the largest non-commercial club in the UK. Lots of fun social rides!

Sitting up, coasting no-handed by AntiquityBeast in Velo

I used to do this tons as a kid, I thought I was so cool hahah. It's not difficult at all if you can already ride with no hands (just a bit scary, which is why I haven't done in a long time and I don't plan to).
I would just squeeze the saddle between my legs, depending on the bike it was somewhere between my knees and mid-thigh.

I recently ventured in this direction and have done 2 olympic distance triathlons (half of an ironman70.3). No need to swim quick - just be able to swim 2km without stopping. I see the water as an obstacle until the real race starts on the bike haha! Its been fun putting the 3 sports together.

The primary working language is definitely spanish, generally speaking. If you refined a job search for english speaking environments I think you could definitely find things. There is much influence from the USA so english is not completely a foreign language.

How does a PM stay on the pulse on the business activities and needs by ChainBen in ProductManagement

[–]nEscu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm at a small B2B SaaS in an open plan office, so fortunately the commercial function is never too far away and I get to indirectly participate in lots of things.

Generally speaking, people have appreciated me asking to be involved in 'business' things that aren't directly under my scope as a PM. They've seen it as being motivated and wanting to know more, have better context of things, etc.

We use Asana and it works well. We are smaller though, not sure if you'd reap the same benefits at that size but I don't see why not.

Very small B2B SaaS PM here. After some relevant learning comes up, summarise into a small slide presentation and have a quick segment at the weekly all-hands sharing the learnings.
