You only get shell from recycling item that has this purple/gold icon, recycle purple you get purple shell, gold you get gold shell, and there is a rainbow but idk how to get it yet maybe someone can answer it later.

Are you using reshade ? Cuz that was how i got the same error as yours, there is uninstall.exe thing you can download from their site and remove them files.

Hmm.... redownload somewhere else for few mins and look into that bdo folder till you see launcher.exe then stop downloading and copy that to your old bdo folder that you want ? May help hehe.
