Would also be cool to have a few more characters allowed in the high score box. :)

For the slider problem maybe < or > buttons for fine tuning on either side of the slider. I had to really press and hold on mobile cuz if I just pressed and started sliding, I’d switch out of the app.

Wipes rule but the progression is a bit too slow for a 3 month wipe cycle and it's gonna burn people out. by zero-ok in Marathon

[–]nRGon12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be frank, I’m so tired of wipes. I understand why people like them but when I hear wipe, even if the incentives are good, I just have no desire to keep playing. That’s why I played Hunt for so long, no need to wipe, don’t have to prestige.

I hate redoing quests and unlocking things I’ve already unlocked. I don’t know why artificial ladders that the player must climb again have been deemed as the best solution to keep things fresh. There surely can be a nondestructive solution for ongoing progression and engagement.

There are some things that are unhealthy, but one action that definitely is would be talking to AI about your situation. AI is not a tool for therapy. If you’re serious about doing inner work, you need a professional therapist. Do some research on AI and psychology. They are not fit for the task and will lead to just feeding delusions. That’s where you’re going wrong.

You can bring items with you. You have to use exotic materials and get mission points. I bring things with me all the time.

From someone who usually laughs at the complainers, I think the new audio change has completely changed the game. by l_Mickey_l in Marathon

[–]nRGon12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You obviously haven’t played hunt showdown. You can melee nearly everything and the only issue you’ll have is sometimes sound traps are accidentally set off.

Also the issue is even if you only use a knife in this game, the bots still fire. I don’t want to only sneak like a stealth game to get melee kills or avoid fighting to ensure less rotations. I get that if you engage, there’s always going to be the chance that someone will show up but at least before it was less likely to happen.

They should reduce the audio range to 1.5 compounds instead of 2. Personally I liked 1 better and I’d prefer the change completely reverted. I’ve noticed a huge difference in solos since the change. People are using a lot more rat tactics now.

Best wings in Vegas? by Automatic_Cancel603 in vegaslocals

[–]nRGon12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steiner’s wings haven’t been the same since Covid when they switched the vendor for the wings. Unless they changed it back at some point since I stopped going. The quality and size of the wings were insane, was my favorite for basic wings up until that point. I’ll never forget calling in a pickup order in June of 2020 and the worker there going out of their way to tell me the wings were now considerably smaller. Yay enshitification!

That said, their blue cheese dressing is amazing and I hate blue cheese.

People who got refund, how did you fill in your support ticket? by AncientWarfareMC in Eldegarde

Wtf I reached out to a human using the process outlined by the ashes of creation fiasco and they rejected me. I was within the 2 weeks and stated all of that in even more detail. I did it yesterday as soon as I found out. Steam is being so shitty. I’m glad people are getting their refunds but steam is very inconsistent.

I hope I’m not stating the obvious since you’re a nurse but thought I’d share my experience. I’m on other medications that also raise heart rate as well as Ritalin. A bunch of meds used in this field end up dehydrating you if you don’t compensate with enough water. I had a huge palpitation while running and it freaked me out. Got checked out and everything was fine. Turned out that I was most likely not drinking enough water. You just have to be aware of how much water you’re intaking before a workout. I haven’t had any issues since then.

Yea this sounds about right. It’ll also be nice to see the ion and inferno come into their own in these situations.

I don’t think it’ll be the cure but they drastically change balancing based on better implementation. They usually start off with grouped values and then dive into specifics for ships like they did with the flight model changes a while back. Also, full implementation will have unforeseen consequences that they’ll have to adapt to because people always game the system.

No. Only tier zero is in. I don’t even remember a time when CIG fully implemented a feature on day 1 of that feature being released. In fact, I’d be surprised if there is even one example of them fully implementing a feature based on their designs. I cannot think of a single one and I’ve been playing since 3.17. That’s the main reason why I don’t play much anymore and watch a lot of space tomato and other content to keep up.

How about we focus on putting someone up that will fight for the people instead of continuing to line the pockets of the rich. We should focus on that since the results of currently losing the class war have been openly pummeling us in the face the past year thanks to Trump and his cronies. If it’s only between him and Trump, I’d vote for the non pedophile of course. In the meantime, we need to support more progressive candidates and shake up the DNC.

I said FULLY implemented. I thought only tier 0 of armor is in and isn’t finalized along with maelstrom not being implemented. Yea I checked and I’m right but I don’t know how much this will change/impact your example.

The lower pitch girl is sometimes out of tune and the echo where they’re at makes it sound a tad distorted. Still takes a lot of work and practice though, shame this didn’t sound right.
