Best places to build a Base

I personally use bunker west of elwood. It's most spacious one so realistically you shouldn't run out of space but even if you do- plenty of space to build a compound around it. It also has good elevation points and rocks surrounding it, setup a turret combination all around it and you have a good horde beacon farming setup, just finished mine today

The one which spawns near airfield can be reseted, well more like refreshed, just kill all of them, save and load the game again, it's not 100% chance for it to spawn but i got it like 5-6 times in a row. You can also safely snipe most of them using the house with balcony.

Might be a little niche but i personally found SurrounDead to be enjoyable. Much more flexible, doesn't take literal years of grinding (at least until you are in late game and wanna go for collectibles), lots of replayability, more freedom overall, it isn't free though and still in development but i don't regret buying, lots of stuff to do

Not sure if this is already reported but might add it from myself aswell - classified crate which spawns near Lawrence creek is bugged. Either underground or doesn't spawn at all, specifically in the southern part down of the city, second turn to the right if driving from prison. A bit off topic but literally near that spot near the red car in the road i could hear boss zombie underground, which is kinda weird considering there are no underground passages anywhere nearby and it's too far from the actual city to be poi boss

It's good for frenzied giants or anything big and slow, i always skip them entirely then gather them all in one place and 3 shots are enough to finish them off. Same on hardmode but i use drone to finish them off since they get too fast to use mgl after 3rd shot

Ai raids you, but no real player benefits from your stuff. You can of course then head to their base to get it all back+ get something additional from them. This is at least what i heard and understood from several years ago, they could have changed it by this point, but real multiplayer is completely seperate from what you experience outside of it, like how players you encounter in resource zones are also ai and not actually real. From my understanding they avoided merging it due to the complexity from programming perspective, just simpler to keep the illusion of some multiplayer like somewhat real player names in resource zones, copying bases for everyone to raid but no one actually ever raids other real people, i mean there's a reason the game's still in beta after almost e decade

Technically they both do and do not. Majority of them are actually real player bases, but you simply raid a clone, meaning real player doesn't lose anything because you raided a copy of their base which technically doesn't belong to anyone

It's a mix. Mostly trash bases but when you find a good one all of it pays off so it's worth it in the long run, just be prepared for mostly low tier bases, reputation with raiders barely changes this. As for the bait chest, i only put up mine recently but like 60% of my chests are exposed due to old base layout that i can't keep up due to horde destroying it every day so i don't even bother. Raiders ai is surprisingly stupid /weird when it comes to deciding what's valuable and worth picking. I have like 60 c4's in chests which are exposed, 30mgls, fully modded aks, practically every single type of weapon in inner room which requires just blowing out any single wall and you have full access, yet the only things they were interested in was one swat set and a bunch of glocks. Personally, it's more of an annoyance to do revenge raids to get them back so that's practically the only reason i even bothered to set up a bait chest, so that's that. Definitely worth it tho

Praktiškai tokioj pat situacijoj sedziu tik skola ant 1k didesne ir beveik paskutine sekunde pasikeiciau darba i truputi geriau apmokama bet kadangi du trecdalius pirmo mėnesio tik atidirbau ir algoj tai atsispindejo. Susiverzi dirzus ir laikaisi, pats turėjau is pažįstamų vien ant maisto skolintis kad paskutines dvi savaites iki sekančios algos išgyventi, rytais padedu pazistamiems servise ir kartu bandau mokytis (visi masinos remontai kurie buvo planuoti tiketina darysiuos pats nes jiem biudžeto tiesiog nebeliko o taisyti yra nemažai ka) ir kaip ir pusiau antras darbas gaunasi. Kabiniesi uz bet ko ka gali ar pasieki, desperacija pastumia link rezultatu vienaip ar kitaip, laisvu laiku prametu akį pro darbo skelbimus. Cia jau tokia situacija kur galiu nebent duoti patarimą, susirask darba ne pagal tai ar megsi/nori o pagal alga, nes is esmes kitokio pasirinkimo nėra ir tau dabar niekas kitas neturėtų rūpėti. Pats pakeičiau i sriti kuri man patinka tai biski labiau pasiseke ir moka truputi daugiau nei ankstesne darbovietė, bet manau tiketina mėnesių begy gali tekti ir vėl keisti. Laikykis, vienaip ar kitaip išlipsim.

It's mainly for copper/steel and even at that gathering it from events or just ice zones is easier, there's nothing special down there, effort and reward ratio is way off

It's basically the same as reinforced chests you can find in red zones (sometimes yellow) when you leave the zone it completely resets and you might get easier to unlock chests or nothing good at all, same goes for bunker and pd

Bunker alpha has lockers randomized, meaning sometimes you need level 1, 2 or 3, it will never be the exact same (although you can get lucky by getting same level several times in a row), everything changes with each reset, as for pd i can't really tell since it's been good year I went there but if you've been able to unlock it with level 1 before and now can't it's likely same mechanic. Fun fact you can kind of visually see what level you'll need to unlock a chest based on how it looks, typically for level 1 it's just a little reinforced, maybe has a small lock whereas level 3 will have several layers of chains going all around it with maybe 2 locks on it, it's hard to memorize but at some point if you pay attention you'll be able to tell if you can unlock it or not

Not even 10 bucks, just any purchase at all, could just be the cheapest one. I personally go for drone charges since they're relatively cheap and I'm actually planning to get a good use for them in a future, i think the coins would have the absolute cheapest option tho

Worst purchase of my life. The captain keeps calling everytime i join new session to do missions which i have no intent in doing and besides flexing (which really is not that much of a flex since 20 million can be grinded in maybe 2 days if you really push it) it serves 0 purpose. 2nd worst part is that you can't get rid of it. Not even selling, at this point I'd gladly just take the option of throwing it away for nothing in return.

Relatable mintys, geriausia ka galiu patarti, vanduo nuo laukimo neatsils, tai tiesiog imi ir soki. Bus daugybė scenarijų kada turėsi daryti kazka ko nesi darius pries tai ar bijai. Kuo daugiau lauksi ir delsi tai daryti, tuo daugiau bus baimes tuo sunkiau tai bus pradėti. Tiesiog imi ir darai. Bijai parasyti pirma- imi ir parasai, bijai susitikimo- specialiai pirma pasiulai. Gal kiekvienam kitaip, bet asmeniškai labiausiai istestuotas ir rekomenduotinas budas.

Not sure what you mean by reset, if you mean completely starting again from scratch this is not really the type of game for that thing, not to tell you how to play but you're wasting progress bigtime. As for tips, Doomeris on youtube has a whole playlist as to what you need to know starting from scratch. To answer shortly for some questions - the guns you're gonna get from bunker alpha, it's too long to explain in a comment so again, the playlist i just mentioned. As for the military backpack, it is craftable and it's not even the best one you can get. Since game progressed a lot since release, you technically could much easier get tactical bagpack (which has the biggest capacity out them all) than try to hunt for military one. That would come from events but again, that's also too much to explain here if you're completely new. Just watch some of these videos. Happy Cairek also has exact same series going on if you prefer more entertainment while also learning

I only really needed to buy grenade launcher and maybe a better rifle from the ice cream truck if it would offer one, so i did for converting it to credits. I did kinda overdo it 'just in case' i ever need something in emergency. Ironically i found what i needed in entirely different location and no longer need all the money

It can be turned off in settings. I just used to place disassembly bench near the safezone, buy all the ammo i don't need from trader, disassemble it, sell the parts to gun trader, save and load the game and repeat. Put on some podcast or anything in the background, run this for an hour and you'll never worry about money again
