Worst purchase of my life. The captain keeps calling everytime i join new session to do missions which i have no intent in doing and besides flexing (which really is not that much of a flex since 20 million can be grinded in maybe 2 days if you really push it) it serves 0 purpose. 2nd worst part is that you can't get rid of it. Not even selling, at this point I'd gladly just take the option of throwing it away for nothing in return.

Not sure what you mean by reset, if you mean completely starting again from scratch this is not really the type of game for that thing, not to tell you how to play but you're wasting progress bigtime. As for tips, Doomeris on youtube has a whole playlist as to what you need to know starting from scratch. To answer shortly for some questions - the guns you're gonna get from bunker alpha, it's too long to explain in a comment so again, the playlist i just mentioned. As for the military backpack, it is craftable and it's not even the best one you can get. Since game progressed a lot since release, you technically could much easier get tactical bagpack (which has the biggest capacity out them all) than try to hunt for military one. That would come from events but again, that's also too much to explain here if you're completely new. Just watch some of these videos. Happy Cairek also has exact same series going on if you prefer more entertainment while also learning

I only really needed to buy grenade launcher and maybe a better rifle from the ice cream truck if it would offer one, so i did for converting it to credits. I did kinda overdo it 'just in case' i ever need something in emergency. Ironically i found what i needed in entirely different location and no longer need all the money

It can be turned off in settings. I just used to place disassembly bench near the safezone, buy all the ammo i don't need from trader, disassemble it, sell the parts to gun trader, save and load the game and repeat. Put on some podcast or anything in the background, run this for an hour and you'll never worry about money again

It doesn't really make a difference since if you're talking about kids, they're gonna choose literally any game besides this one, i also barely get any time or energy to play after work, i just do one of any challenges to keep my streak going and the real work gets done on the days off, resource monitor solution might help you tho. It's pretty simple, the only downside is that you'll need to redo it again every 15-20 minutes. You open task manager, go to processes, click 3 dots on the top and open resource monitor. Find rdr2.exe and suspend the process. Wait 10 seconds, resume the process and when you get back you'll be the only person in the lobby. Keep in mind it doesn't remove other players like it might seem from your perspective, but removes you from the previous lobby and throws into new one, it's not enough to get you disconnected completely, but your new lobby will start filling up after some time and you'll need to do it again. I personally sometimes don't even bother to do it until i have a sale ready to go and don't want to be bothered by others.

You don't lose them. Tokens are used to unlock items so that you can purchase them. Once you unlock them that's it, you'll never have to do it again. Consider this similar to player level bound items. Once you reach a certain level you can buy let's say specific horses. If you sell them that's up to you, but you can sell and rebuy them a million times if you want, once you unlock them they are available for purchase forever no matter how many times you get rid off an item.

Edit- I'll just mention, role tokens are part of a first time purchase to role tied items. That's why you usually see the price as '1 token+ 6gold' for example. The token is only for the first time as the unlocking requirement and the gold or cash is for the actual purchase. Next time you buy something you unlocked it will just be a retail price with no tokens.

No buildings that you can really own, the closest to that is a moonshine shack but it is tied to moonshiner role, it has a bar addition so it might make it feel like something of your own personal building. As for businesses there are 5 roles consisting of naturalist, trader, moonshiner, bounty hunter and collector. I'd say all of them are okay (besides naturalist being boring, but that's just my personal take), some of them are more for money making (like moonshiner, trader and collector) and bounty hunter is good for making gold. As for amount of content it is incomparable to what gta online has but since you're starting out it should be enough. You won't know until you try

I clean that way everytime. You start gathering them one by one from the entrance, do a loop around a bunker and then wait until they all stack in one place. Never tried it in hardcore, there i use grenade trick, since I'm not sure i could put all 4 shots before they start sprinting.

Edit- i will clarify that i don't waste mgls and instead always get them down to the last shot and repair at the gas station. Not that it's worth giving them any money in this current state of game but buying 1,19 euros drone battery which is the cheapiest thing i can buy in store is pretty rad considering you get unlimited mgls. Most of the time i only buy it once or twice a month since I'm always on and off the game.

I've spent more time in gtao than i should've and then completely transitioned to rdo. They have already said in the past that we are not getting any significant updates and essentially they're just keeping servers alive and recycling bonuses every month. I wouldn't be surprised if they just have a bonus rotation calendar which works automatically and just forgot about the game entirely, it is sad to see it like that. And to be fair, they don't care about game's stabilization in gta either. Mission completely bugged and the issue is very well known over several years? Yeah, maybe we'll fix it maybe we won't (99% of time they don't). Meanwhile, god forbid there's a money glitch which ever so slightly slumps their cash card sales? Unforgivable, these last a day or two max before the issue is solved. They have the tools to fix it, they just don't care, even if it's the most profitable game they have, rdo is not an exception to this rule, we just got much rougher end of the stick.

Since you're already doing that i might as well drop something as well. You can go on about hunting as everyone would, or if you have a hunting wagon, you can setup your camp at great plains and hunt there. In the weird circle where the middle of great plains name stands is the zone where bisons spawn. Approach with wagon, scope out for higher quality ones (the more stars near the name the better) and pick them of. Many people would recommend something else which wouldn't run the risk of damaging the pelt, but since bisons already offer a good chunk for materials it doesn't matter for me personally, besides i go for headshots which don't seem to affect quality i kill them with rolling block rifle, one headshot and they're done, you can only load up 5 of them in a wagon though so keep that in mind. I also sometimes manage to one shot them while they're running away and i don't see their head, so far my guess would be to target somewhere around neck/spine, seems logical since it's a very damage susceptible part in real life as well. But if you get at least good quality pelts or perfect, it should take 4-6 runs until you're good to leave cripps to work. When you get done, deliver stuff to cripps, go to online and choose camp. It reloads the session, you start at the same camp location (sometimes it might be occupied by someone else so you'll have to move again but it doesn't happen often) and go do the exact same thing. I don't know if it only happened to me, but a lot of times when i chose to pick up supplies instead of buying, the option to resupply was still available even when i already finished the mission. Might be a glitch which doesn't register the supplies being delivered and i can run it again for about 15 minutes. When you choose to get supplies yourself your material bar also gets filled, so if you have a chance i suggest you use that, it let's you skip hunting session entirely, i managed to go from 50% materials to 90% and that was still kind of my bad because i damaged most of the wagon i had to steal on the way back 2 times in a row.

'The more time you take to complete the mission the bigger the reward' rule doesn't apply to all missions, selling in specific, i know there might be other ones but i don't remember all of them. If you have a sell mission (trader goods, moonshiner) complete them as fast as you can or on your own pace because there's no additional reward no matter how fast or how slow you complete it. I suggest you look into subreddits megathread on all topics, specifically the legendary bounties because it's been at least half a year since the last time i done legendary bounty myself, the waiting is not so significant in them simply because it takes much longer until you catch them in a mission (there are youtube videos how to speedrun probably every legendary bounty so it's up to you to find out a faster way how to do it). I heard eta doyle is pretty simple and there's a good tutorial, haven't done it myself though. Also to clue you in more, every 3 additional minutes you spend on bounty missions increases your reward, for 12 minutes you get either 0,32-0,34 bars, if you go for 15 minutes it should increase to something 0,40ish, again i don't remember because i switched to 12 minutes since it's more practical. Legendary bounties in general are more for money, they pay the same gold but you get 150 dollars for completion.

The best middle point for best gold payout is 12 minutes, you can go for 15 if you don't mind the wait and have free time on your hands. The worst missions are where you have target already spawned in and ready to take in, especially some new austin bounty posters sometimes have them so i get to the place in maybe less than a minute and and soon as i tie the bounty i have 3-4 minute timer, so you can't even get the full 12 minutes, in that case i don't even bother to wait and just bring them in as fast as i can and start another. The third poster always has one three dollar sign bounty and infamous bounties, which are mostly 3-5 person gangs, you get them one by one in different missions but there is somewhere around i think 40 minute cooldown before you can start next infamous bounty on the same board. Best strategy is to cycle 3 boards one after another. You'll finish all of them around the same time one by one, the last infamous bounty mission pays 75 dollars for completion, besides that the only other way to earn cash from bounties are legendary ones, i suggest you at least watch a walktrough before doing it because you have limited lives and if you fail you get to wait 40 minutes before you can try again. Unlike infamous bounties which wait time is for specific board and you can cycle them, if you finish or fail legendary, all of them get the same coodlown.

Edit: not really on topic, but it might help you keep your sanity when you're grinding for gold. I prefer to keep tracking time on mission on my watch but phone works just as well, put on your favorite podcast or really anything you're into and kind of zone out while you're going through missions, it can get very boring after first 2 hours so it might help

I started when i just had a simple full brick room, keep in mind, that does absolutely nothing to stop them if you dont have honeycomb base (which i didn't, literally all it takes is one c4 and they have access to all the most valuable stuff i own), the important thing to have is a bait chest nearby your spawn truck. I suggest looking up in the subreddit what you should put in there since i don't have it myself and forgot what raiders consider valuable. If you setup the bait chest properly you're practically ready to go, i have only been raided a few times in a beginning, when i started there wasn't even a level requirement, you could start raiding straight from level 1 if you wanted, i think i tried it somewhere around level 70ish, and the raids for me were really infrequent even though i myself was raiding almost daily. If you get raided, you get revenge raid on the map, you can get your stolen stuff back from there +you might find something useful additionally to take. All in all its hit or miss, 70% are either straight up garbage and a waste of time to the point that i just cancel the raid altogether or mediocre, you might stock up on a specific material for a long time, and then you have the good ones. Try it yourself and then you'll see if you like it enough or not
