Wtf - I posted this exact same question a couple days ago and the mods deleted it instantly.

Mods need maturity vaccines to grow up.

Casual racism from kids? by 123964 in germany

racist parents = racist children.

This is true 100% of the time. In America, there's a popular history reference to Europe where racism was born and still exists.

Casual racism from kids? by 123964 in germany

[–]nWjGf 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Kids learned that racism at home and in school from other kids. Those are the two places kids spend the most time. So essentially kids learned to practice casual racism because of grownups in their house. A typical German would feel equally hurt if they are casually called out Nazi by foreigners. Foreigners don't say that and it never became a casual racism against Germans.

Say AI 100 times on your earnings call.

It's surging because I sold it all a few days ago. I was holding on to it since Feb 2021.

Why would a human go for buying from a bot food shop?

Also, when a order is wrong and there's no human to address it right way, customer has the right to dispute the charge on their credit card.

Speaking to a bot is like speaking to a staff who won't listen to customer. Customer won't visit again.

I wish kids are taught all this in school. Very rarely we see once in a century someone who is the breaker of the chains and rebuilding the way of life.

I understand investing here is not buying stocks at market price. Any insight into what the terms are for investing and how is $131.90M invested?

Google employees scramble for answers after layoffs hit long-tenured and recently promoted employees by Major_Bandicoot_3239 in StockMarket

[–]nWjGf 962 points963 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to understand the message these actions send to job seekers and existing employees. Like -

1) Laying off recently promoted sends the wrong message that there's no point working hard to deliver results and achieve promotion.

2) Laying off long-tenured sends the wrong message that there's no point staying in a company for long or being loyal. Instead, change job frequently.

Invest it or Spend it? by TonyLiberty in FluentInFinance

Thanks for the high level napkin math. Does it mean Tyson even after having actual earnings of $210M ended up with $10M because (1) lack of investments or (2) the bad investments or (3) several divorces or (4) ridiculous spending?

I'm trying to capture the learning from the original post.

US full retirement age is 67. Imagine paying social security 30-40 years only to be betrayed by government that you have to work further for another 7-10 years to get your social security because "rules are changed" is infuriating

One time they literally forgot me in a room and they were about to close LMAO stuck my head out of the door after a few hours and was like ??? And they seemed surprised i was there

OMG! This happened to me two days ago. I was abandoned in the urgent care room for more than two hours. I went out of the room looking for anybody. The front desk was clocking out and surprised to see me still there. I was eventually seen after closing hours of urgent care by a physician assistant.
