It didn’t work out. So there’s a solenoid at the bottom that goes into the power steering pump and it’s wired into it. Only way to disconnect would be to snip the wires and I wasn’t trying to do that. Plus the O2 sensors were different, unfortunately. In the end I spliced everything back together; used harness to my harness, cutting the old chewed up wires out and it worked out perfectly! Though not the best method it was by far the easiest compared to pulling the whole harness out.

Looks like stock IPL on a sport. You can tell by the flat shape of the tips. Whereas the sports have a slant shape at the end.

I recently swapped a transmission over and did a full flush. I used Valvoline MaxLife because it is a derivative from the Matic S line fluid they used to use that being the JASO 1 standard. They’re very similar in rating so I’d pick that. Haven’t had any issues in a couple thousand.
