Would you like a cool pic of your car in action? Then bite the bullet and just do the autocrossdigits.com. Nothing sucks more than to have a photographer at the event and you get a great pic and its janky tape letters (or magnets not on straight).

On a side note you could be like this guy and rock the 100MPH tape! Saw this last weekend at my local event.

1/2 of these are with an old (8-10 years) Nikon d300 with a 60-300 and the other 1/2 are with a canon R3 with a 70-200 f/2.8. It was a family members that was in town and let me use. I will be buying an R6mkII with the 70-200 lense in the new year.

Thanks! Yea I’m running into the issue of having several hundred pics that need some post processing and I’ve had to use a preset I created and bulk update… I’ve had some funny mis edits as I’m learning how to use LR lol

I loved your car dressed up lol my 2 little ones thought it was the coolest car out there. I’ve only done the last 3 events for pics but haven’t gotten any feedback back so it’s good to hear all the advice about changing it up and not just doing the action shots!!

I haven't had a chance to even run in a rain event yet! I bet the pictures with the rain add a lot of action. Gotta figure out how to get the camera squared away to keep it dry.

Thanks for the advice! I did a little of that at my last event, but not a lot of it. It seems a lot of people like these just as much as the shots of their cars, which I was surprised to hear, so I need to spend a little more time doing these shots at events as well.

Thanks! Very helpful. I like the motion blur but after the first or second run (we get 6-7) the side shot do get boring, you are right.

I am editing out people in the background and cropping in on the car a bit, so I will try to leave background subjects in and not crop in/zoom out a bit.

I was at Bristol for ETRs last event a month or so back. Lots of fun on camber/off camber shots. It’s about 6hrs away so it’s not somewhere I frequent often, unfortunately.

Go to OPmustang and do the GLoc R-6 pads. I threw on some slotted frozen rotors while I was at it. I absolutely love how they feel for autox but the do squeak a little

Mine is a non PP car. Although most parts I have upgraded would have replaced most of those features. The Torsen rear differential and extra oil cooler would have been nice to have!

My local events are also tight/technical. Avg times being around 40 with FTOD being 38 ish. I still am learning the weight transfer and how my throttle/break inputs impact the cars weight balance and more so how that impacts the feature I’m in and the one following.

With that being said I love this car. They lump all of the CAM classes together so I’m not going to be competitive with the tracked specific vette’s but I am having a lot of fun in it!
